VasQ's 3D characters
Hi 3D masters.. Pa post din po ako dito sa 3D section ng character design para maka hingi rin ng comments/advices.. This is supposed to be a Skrull who got a new clean haircut na kalaban ng Fantastic 4
I sculpted using Mudbox and did the textures and colors in PS.. I really liked this software back then (mudbox) but it's only now that I got a chance to explore it more so feel free to lash out some comments about it..

Re: VasQ's 3D characters
Galing dude.. High poly yan render na yan? O you used a low poly then applied normal/displacement? Astig sya dude.. Textures are good, i like the hair and brows. My only crit is his anatomy sa may neck area.. Saka po un collar bone sana mas prominent pa para to match un body nya. Pero overall, bangis.. Saka sana gumamit ka ng subsurface skin shader, kung photoreal ang habol mo..

@mailman - salamat po...
@ishae_clanx - thanks sir..
@boyluya - thanks for the comments dude, appreciate it.
yeah, the mesh is high poly already. as for the neck anatomy i guess it looks a bit wierd from that angle maybe because this monster actually has a lump at the back of his head. and yeah it would have been nice to use subsurface skin shader but i actually didn't render the colors in a 3D program as the sculpt is jst a practice anyway. i just painted those directly from PS from one of the model's camera angles that i print screened...
you can see some other angles below..
