Objective of the Competition:
1. To promote camaraderie among cgpinoy members.
2. To promote awareness of the Philippine Bahay Kubo.
3. To promote the use of Green Architecture Technologies and Innovations.
4. To share ideas on the future of housing design.
5. To enhance one's skill as a cg artist.
6. And to have fun!

Rules and Regulations of the Competition:
1. The Competition is open to all CG|Pinoy members.
2. Forum rules still apply.
3. Create a concept design of a Bahay Kubo of the Future.
4. The bahay kubo could be of any size and of any material.
5. Incorporation of Green Architecture Technology and Innovations are encourage. (Reuse, Reduce and Recycle)
6. Optimize your images to 800 pixels wide. Images higher than 800px shall be provided in a link.
7. You may post any number of entries. The more entries, the more chances of winning
8. You may use any 2d or 3d softwares.
9. The contest will end on June 15, 2009.
10. A group of jury will select the winners.
11. 3 winners will be chosen as our Grand Prize, 1st Runner Up, and 2nd Runner Up winners.
12. A wip or sketches and concepts in words shall be provided.
13. Prizes are as follows:
First Prize - Sony Cybershot (model to be announced)
2nd Prize - The New Ipod Shuffle
3rd Prize - Desktop Printer (brand to be announced)

Actually yan nga po ang pinaka challenge dito at ayaw namin magbigay ng limit para yung imagination po ng contestant is

That is the reason also why Green architecture is included in criteria for judging para ma enhance pa rin ang environment. Basta yun tipong may "Sense" ang gawa mo na sa tingin mo makakatulong din sa atin.Pero ang importante wag po natin kakalimutan ang essence ng isang bahay kubo (Form and Function) is nandiyan pa rin.

Got it... so meaning, pwede naman any design basta wag yung tipong parang nakalutang na, like talagang lumilipad, o kaya yung parang nasa tabi ng waterfalls na napasok sa gilid ng bundok... so kinda futuristic pero not so out of this world... logical pa rin right?.... I'm looking into utilizing semi plastic kasi, although hindi sya eco-friendly material, eco-frinedly naman kasi i was used in the water cube right? Parang ganyan na concept...

Actually kahit ano bro. basta you can make it believable and with supporting information walang problema. more of solution ang hanap natin dito. pwede ka din maginbento ng new technology. kung sa falls, hydro/thermal power. ok lng yun basta gandahan mo lang ang supporting documents mo. good luck!

hahha, tinitingnan ko pa sched ko bro kung pwedeng sumali... kakagaling ko lng sa sakit eh.... sobrang stree na ata, although enjoy ako... katawan ko di kinaya, ayun tulog d nakasama sa 2 days na EB dito sa sing.... hahaha naakaktamad din dito sa bahay eh, walang magawa kundi mag basa ng libro... hahaha

Mga CGPians.....natatandaan ninyo yung thesis ninyo?? ganun ang gagawin, may Visibility Study muna, we need to think na tatayo yan in the future, gamit yung materials na makikita lang sa paligid at environment natin...remember kailangan mag-Incorporation siya sa Green Architecture Technology and Innovations natin....(Reuse, Reduce and Recycle)....

Sir pasensya na po ha.. matagal na rin kasi akong hindi nakapag practice ng architecture... sir do you mean Feasibility study? Or talagang Visibility?
Anyway... sa tingin ko, this challenge should be concept driven yet inspired with present technologies and discoveries. Like I said, pwede naman sigurong medyo out of this world wag lng siguro yung mala spaceship na nakalutang sa aireee or kaya nakalambitin sa malaking puno sorrounded by 500 feet tall waterfalls... yung parang mapapaniwalaan na pwedeng magagagawa. I'm thinking in the lines of watercube, the nest, the new World Trade center or kaya designs ni Santiago Calatrava, or Renzo Piano o akay si Zaha Hadid (?) something like that, conceptual yet me probability na mag kakatutoo. Walang limit sa materials just as long as it follows the Green Architecture Technology and Innovations.... hopefully tama yung pagkakaintindi ko...

More on visualization lang po tayo huwag na natin masyado ilayo or pahirapan pa alam niyo naman siguro ang limitation niyo di ba? Ang importante nag i enjoy tayo dito.
