How to change the materials from DWG files into Revit Family

1st you have to create family,

2nd click furniture system,

3rd. import DWG file then click v v..

4th-just edit the materials

then save...after that,load the family into your project.

see the pictures below on how to change the materials...



click v v












go to your project then click the v v (visibility)








thats it....hope you got it guys....enjoy importing DWG...

good day po ask ko lang po kung possible po ba na maimport ang 3D objet from max to revit? (lets say mga furnitures)

oo bro,pwede yan,just export the 3d file into DWG then open the revit family,tapos dun mo e-import yong DWG files,tapos gawin muna ang process na ganito para mag lagay ng materials

sir medyo nagkakaproblema po ako sa pagpalit ng materials..kasi po yung model ko po kinuha ko sa evermotion archmodels..isang materials lang po ang pwede palitan..may way po ba para iexplode ko xa? for example pag chair..once i change the materials yun na po ang iaaply na materials sa lahat.. pareho na po ang materials ng cushion at armrest.. pero ayos naman po yung pag import ko..thanks

Sir try mo edit sa CAD before mo import sa Revit,Create a new layer tapos assign mo nlng doon sa model. specify mo nlng yung mga layers para d ka mahirapan pag pinasok mo na sa revit yung model mo.

by the way mga sir.. paano po paga-angin yung file nung ibang models using autocad kasi po minsan pag inupload ko na po sa revit medyo mabagal na kasi masyadong mabigat yung inimport na file..meron po bang way? maraming salamat

use rpc files for the entourage..but if you used 3d models ganun po talaga,bumagal kasi wala tayong revit proxy. 2thumbsup

Hangat maari wag kayo masyado gumamit ng imported Model na converted sa Cad Mabigat Talaga yun. Yung mga model lng na mahirap talaga gawin sa revit. pero i suggest na kung kaya naman gawin sa revit.,try to model it in revit. or gaya nga ng sabi ni sir mark use RPC para mas lalong magaan. at hindi masyado mabigat.
try mo mag search dito www.revitcity.com or under sa "INSERT" Tab search ka ng model sa "Autodesk Seek" may mga free Rvt models dyan na pwede download pero sa autodesk seek kunti plng mga model, sa Revit city naman kailangan mo mag reg. para makapag download.
