3ds MAX Crashing, Need Help!!!

Hello mga cgpips, masters and techies......I really have a serious problem regarding my 3ds max 2009 with vray 1.5 sp2....it always crushing!!!!. not in rendering, it happens when im just modeling, editing and moving around inside the scene.....and I dont know why!....hindi naman heavy un scene ko and naka vray proxies na un ibang models inside the scene.

Here's my system config:

OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit
Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.83 GHz
8 GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD4870 x2 (2 GB)

Is it max 2009 or vista the problem?

I had the same problem and the 'productivity booster' saved the day. mine is a 32bit vista though. I could be wrong but it did fix mine.

super computer n pala gamit mo..ngccrush p..cguro suggestion ko imerge mo yung scene n ngccrush s bgo..alm mo kung bkit ngccrush kc ngshaded ang mga objects..no need shaded objects when you're working kc kinkain nya ram mo.. naexperience ko n yan many times...

maybe the compatibility of your drivers, on your PC.
or try using 3dsmax9 software

Thanks sa advice bossing!........hindi ko pa kasi masyadong kabisado max.......paano po alisin un shade sa mga objects?

Salamat po sir sa pag-bisita.......Na check ko na po lahat ng drivers ko....all is 64-bit also even my 3ds max and vray is 64-bit version also...

same fate to me, im always having trouble everytime i pushed (F3) shaded opengl so lagi akong wires to prevent from crashing at mag test render in crop mode mas convenient to work too... iwasan mo nalng muna ang shaded... bro

salamat bossing sa pag-bisita.......my system is weird??? pag-naka wireframe ako lalong bumibigat un scene......bagal ng movements sa loob, bakit kaya? any ideas sir dickie? im using Direct 3D sa Display

sir meron kang windows update o hehehe joke
sir does this happens only in max 2009? before ba is anong gamit nyong max? and gaano kalakas ung power supply mo? new rig ba yan?

Bro i had same problem sa 3dmax9 pero try mo palitan ung direct 3d mo sa open gl sa 3dmax preferences. sa akin nawala problema so far diko na naexperience ulit.try mo lang bro malay mo magwork.gudlack

If you are on subscription, contact your dealer and ask for access to the subscription area.

salamat sir kietsmark sa pag-bisita........it happens also in max9.....about sa power supply, its FSP 800W EPSILON......yup bago lang tong computer 2 mos old.
