Agila Core Fighter/KAWAL

It has been 20 years since the end of the Philippine Civil War. The Philippines, though exhausted from that conflict, has unified as one great race to rebuild it's devastated land. There was one keyword that was instilled into everyone's mind, discipline. With this as a driving force, the country has flourished once more. In fact, it has become much better than it ever was. At last, despite an incredibly shameful history, the Philippines has become a first world superpower.

However, turmoil and unrest have caused much of the territories beyond Philippine borders to crumble and decay. With various nations falling victim to environmental catastrophe, the lush and untouched lands of Asia have become targets of invasion. With the United Nation's power slowly weakening, total conflict was inevitable. The international law enforcement force known as the Sword of Columbus has struggled to maintain peace around the globe. War it seems, is just around the corner.

Asian Defense Initiative
The Asian Defense Initiative (ADI) is a joint military programme established to protect the great eastern nations from threats beyond their borders. The west is in turmoil, with the great European and American nations in constant struggle against the growing extremist coalitions and environmental decay. The Sword of Columbus, which is the main offensive arm of the Vatican and the UN has grown weak. The ADI is poised to aid it's western allies, but its focus remain on defending the lands within it's jurisdiction. Japan, Unified Korea, China, Australian Confederation and the Sovereign Republic of the Philippines spearhead this union. The Philippines possesses the most powerful army,Naval and Air Force command, comprising of first class marines and airmen.

Agila
Five years ago, the Armed Forces of the Philippines started a program called KAWAL, which would train soldiers who will be under both Air Force and Marine command. KAWAL produced the first super soldiers of the Philippines. Coinciding with this is the development of the Agila and Lawin Strike Fighters. Agila would be intended solely for KAWAL use. Agila is a one-man fighter designed as a fly-by infiltrator. Agila proved effective when KAWAL was sent on its first mission, which was to liberate Israel from terrorist insurgents.
