I get a "Could not obtain license (10061)" error in vray sp2

hi guys can anyone help me kung pano resolve to im unable to solve this for weeks now ... i get this message .. I get a "Could not obtain license (10061)" error ... im trying 2 install vray sp2 sa max 2011. with windows 7.

i wish someone would please help me its my 1st post here pls i really want 2 render with vray so bad

buy a license.. problem solve..

1. Is the dongle properly inserted?
2. Is the vrayserver.exe running?
3. Does the vrayserver.exe points to the machine with the dongle on?
4. If all fails, upgrade to sp10.6a. Can't understand why you'd be using an old vray version in the current release of max.

i have same problem with you bro i have my vista and max 2010 so i stop and just used mental ray.

sorry po sa lingo heheh ... pero meron po ba dito who knows how to resolve the problem i dont wanna use mental ray kase mas preferred ko ang vray sana me maka hlep sakin d2

Did you follow my advice? The error you mentioned pops out because vray could not find the license. Until it finds the location of the licence - you will not be able to run it.

Last question, did you download the copy or did you bought it?

uhm actually sana wag burahin ng mods ung thread ko i juts need help copied version lang po ng vray ang gamit ko ... so di po sha original copy. before 3 yrs ago i have a vray, kaso nagpalit ako ng computer kaya now di ko na ma install. try ko po install d2 sa pc ko sa ofice. inoff qna ung mga firewall sa pc ko sa bahay pero wala padin. try ko kabit d2 sa ofis kung gumana, bka ung laptop ko na bago me diprensha but i doubt it cuz i just bought that a month ago. aun try kopo ung suggestion nio sir thanks.



by the way sir san po nakakakuha ng vray sp10? kase til sp2 lang and vray rt lang po alam ko thanks po sa reply

Gamitin mo vray 1.5sp5 para sa 2011...

I don't think may pupuntahan ang topic na ito .. i guess you want to have a VRAY na pirated instead of buying a license one .. Hope clear mo na lng ang gusto mo, like Sir v_wrangler told you did you follow his advice? if not then isa lang ang masasabi ko unless you are a license vray user you will never see the updates its always send through emails. Hope naka help

a ok but if you look at the output of mental ray maganda din naman, there's a lot of tutorial in mental ray here madami pero kung gusto mo talaga ng vray sundin mo na lang advice nila buy a license one.
