Creating Gridlines

Step 1: Create new file [R (top left side of the screen) – New – Project – project - ok)
Step 2: Click Home Tab (look for GRID then pick) use default (line) para di ma confuse
Step 3. You can now create gridlines (vertical and horizontal) in any level ka magsimula.

Please note that it will automatically change the number or letter or double click the number so you change it manually.

Creating Levels

Step 1: I assume that you already know how to create gridline
Step 2: sa project browser expand “ELEVATION BUILDING” and double click either EAST, NORTH, SOUTH or WEST (ex. I choose North View)
Step 3. Click HOME tab then click level (you can now start to draw a level but be sure naka check ang MAKE PLAN VIEW sa upper left side to create automatic plan view per level)

Please note that it will automatically change the PLAN name, but pwede nyo palitan just double click the name and it will automatically update the plan view.

Also, makes sure na ang vertical gridline ay lampas sa level (from bottom to top) para kung titingnan nyo sa asper plan view naka reflect sa gridline per view plan.

What if di ko na check ang MAKE PLAN VIEW?
Step 1: Click Tab VIEW then plan view (me lalabas na dialog box at andun lahat ang level na nagawa.
Step 2: cleck all level to create plan view per level then ok.

hoping madaling intindihin!!!

How to synchronized files or work sharing

This procedure will help you how to work as a group, but be sure na you work in a network system (ask your IT).

Step 1: Create new file [R (top left side of the screen) – New – Project – project - ok)
Step 2: Click Collaborate Tab, then click worksets
Step 3: by default, lalabas ang workset 1, try to rename kung ano ang desired name na gusto nyo.
Step 4: Click OK

Notice in you upper left side, under workset naka create na kayo ng worksharing.

Step 4. Save-as project, click OPTIONs (reduce number of backup to 1), then OK
Step 5. Save-as project again, click OPTIONs, check MAKE IT CENTRAL FILE AFTER SAVE, then OK
Step 6. Close the file

Meron ka na ngayon file para sa work sharing.

Step 7. Copy nyo yung file na ginawa nyo sa mga tao na gagawa sa project (ex. PC1, PC2), then rename it
Example: project name is XXX-BUILDING to XXX-BUILDING-PC1 (para madali ma identify)
Step 8: open the copied file (XXX-BUILDING-PC1) me lalabas na window just closed it.
Step 9: click Collaborate Tab, then Synchronized with central, then ok

End of topic, meron na kayong work sharing, if there is problem, try to see the “username” baka same user name kayo ng kasama nyo "GOOD LUCK"

How to Create Structural Column

Step 1- Click home tab, then Column (pili kayo desired na size- under full down menu katabi ng element properties), then pick into the plan,

Note: kung ang column ay located sa center ng gridline just click on grid, then window selection. Or kung sa gilid it is better na isa-isahin depende sa pangangailangan.

Step 2 – modify the column properties, Click column, then right click, then select the size at properties na kailanagan.

Note: under instance properties, pwede mo na palitan ang height, depend on base level at top level.

Step 3 – How to duplicate concrete-column, click edit type, then duplicate, you can now assign your desired sizes.

Note:1. In steel specially UB, UC, etc me naka built-in na sa revit. therefore no need to duplicate.
2.always use duplicate para di maapektuhan ang dating size.
3.Always remember magkaiba ang INSTANCE (will update individual object) at TYPE (it will update all object with same family type name) Properties.

How use Crop by region.

Step 1- Open revit file then select plan view (ex. Level 1)
Step 2- Go to TAB view, then drop down the Plan view and select Plan region.
Step 3- Create boundary line (under draw) then click finish plan region (under plan region).

Note: 1. Please change the desired view range, under plan region properties. Then view range “EDIT”
you can now set-up you desired view in different level in same view plan.
2. Also note that the plan region cannot be overlap or else it will delete the other plan region.

@MArk --- hope it will also help to your question..........

@ Markthomas...! sections are not shown in other layout because of visibility/graphic setting in that layout.... in your keyboard type "vv" or "vg", new window will appear. click annotation category tab, scroll down until you see section, put check on on section then hit apply....This apply to all elements. Hope this help..!

@ markthomas -- sensya na ngayun alng me naka reply.. regading sa tanung mo?

Please refer to the answer of EDPANG it is a good suggestion.

hope it will help.

@ EDpahng = pwede me mag outsource ng Revit just let me know kung ano ang requiremet ano pala ang email mo?

My email add is muhandiss_madani@yahoo.com
