help: my hard disk is busted

hi cgpips... my 500gb seagate hard disk is busted...

wala man lang pasabi... everything was working very well nung umaga... but when i get back in the evening, pag on ko ng computer, wala na... di talaga madetect ng bios...

i had it checked with a technician, di na talaga ma detect.

any idea how to retrieve my files. its very important... kahit ung files nlng.. wag nlng ung hard disk...

hahai... all my latest and on going works are there... and also my files for the past 3 years... and wala akong backup talaga...

pls help...

hello mga cgpeeps:D i'm interested in this thread kasi like most of you, i'm also waiting for a miracle to happen, i have 4 busted HDD collecting dusts and awaiting for the right tech to resurrect them. anyways, upon surfing on youtube i stumbled upon something interesting, it might help open our eyes for possibilities. cheers bro!

try mo sir gawin slave. if ever sa my computer hindi visible pero sa device manager andun siya. then try mo sir fdisk 5x. ang importante madetect yung hdd sir. kahit ma format okay lang. share ko sayo yung software na pang retrieve ng files.

nangyari na din ito sakin. yung una 40gb ko way back yr2000,
tapos last year ung external ko 320gb naman, lahat ng work ko andun.
tapos lastweek dito naman sa office 500gb meron kami IT dito kaya lang parang pinadala nila sa dubai meron isang company na nag reretrieve ng files daw dun. ewan ko until now were waiting for result, pero parang mahal ung recovery nila.
