Dude di ba mahirap hanapan ng mga softwares yan, like max and cadd.

ang alam ko wala pang ACad for MAC. pero pwede kang mag-install ng PC based software by creating a partition for Windows OS. here's what Mr. MAC help says:

"About Boot Camp

With Boot Camp you can install and run Windows XP or Windows Vista on your Intel-based Mac computer, using a Microsoft Windows installation disc that you provide.

Boot Camp Assistant (located in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder) helps you set up a Windows partition on your computer's hard disk and then start the installation of your Windows software. To complete the Boot Camp installation, you install Boot Camp drivers to enable Windows on your Mac.

After installing Windows and the Boot Camp drivers, you can start up your Mac in either Windows or Mac OS X."

That means you'll be able to install any softwares because you are using windows OS but utilizing the hardware strenght of MAC?

yup! any softwares compatible to your selected windows OS used in bootcamp. (i just don't get the logic... why do we need to use mac and install windows afterwards?, is there any difference on 12 core windows and 12 cores mac aside from the virus free mac?)

Maganda daw talaga ang mac. Infact the latest incarnation of the windows OS GUI, was just patterned after the mac OS. Kaso, hassle na kelangan pa ng bootcamp para lang mapatakbo mo ang mga windows applications.

But if i had the dough, why not, i'd love to get a hold of one of these babies.

i used mac before and it's just ok. I guess the monitor is too reflective for my taste, but i can't argue more about it's physical appearance and crispness in display. and ganda ng design, very sleek and workspace saver pa and pwede din namang gamitin ang ibang brand ng keyboard and mouse (again, it will defeat the purpose of buying mac). About the performance? well, because i used bootcamp i can say that it doesn't have an edge sa gamit ko sa bahay.
