Help: SU to 3Dmax proper model import
Hi CGP... im having a problem with an unwanted mesh when i export the model from su to max.
what i did is from su, exported it to be 3ds file.
opened my max and import the converted 3ds file to max.
then i get this unwanted mesh..
anyone kind enough to be able to explain to me how to properly import an su file to 3dmax.
i usually do all my modelling in 3dmax but because i lack time to model it i had it modelled by a friend who is a sketchup user.
pls pls.. tnx...
to get a view of what im saying here are some screenshots. tnx.

sample render... those black lines at the edges are the effect of those unwanted mesh..

vamp you might as well consider max2011. it can import skp file directly. so hindi mo na kailangang magsave ng 3ds file sa sketchup.
