3d rendering fee for big scale projects?

guys,

I have a client (a very big and well known Developer here in the Phils.) who wants me to render their project in Iloilo.
The site is 200 ha. big and they are planning to build just like The Fort. They will only provide me the master plan and ofcourse the ideas and concept pero ako na raw bahala sa design ng mga buildings (w/c includes high-rise and mid buildings, commercial spaces, parks, etc... sa tingin niyo magkano kaya charge ko dito? kasi when he asked me my rate on this project, hind ko pa talaga masabi because this is my first time to have a project this big..

i-base mo nalang sa oras na igugugol mo sa work na to. by man hour. Parang office lang. Say 8-5 kunyari ka magwowork. Kasama na break dun, usually long breaks yan kasi hawak mo ang oras. Matatapos mo kunyari in 1 month.

Say rate mo sa sarili mo is 1000 per day. Eh di 30k yun. Say may kailangan iprint, 5k budget mo. Tapos kuryente mo at pc maintenance, 5k din.

30k + 5k + 5k = 40k + (50%profit) = 60k

Yan baka pwede na yan. More or less ganyan ka magpresyo. Good luck. Pag di mo kayang gawin, Nandito lang kami. haha.

from davao po ako sir... I have no idea saan sa sa iloilo to gawin.. sandali lang kasi kami nagusap sa client kanina kasi may lakad siya.. anyways, ask ko nalang siya pag magkita kami ulit..

given na ang design ng structures would be more "conceputal" and merely for presentation purposes, that means me design input ka. also you need to ask them:

1. deliverables? for example, do they just need 1 aerial perspective, or several shots?
2. would there be a walkthrough/animation?
3. for item 1 - what's the render output size?

i guess kung perspective views lang yan, pwede na ang P60k for that scale.

Oo naman, lalu na pag naakaroon ng mga revisions lugi ka.

suggestion ko lang bro, gawa ka ng contract, tapos ilagay mo dun lahat ng details, like price, kung ano lahat gagawin mo, at kung ilan days mo gagawin. Ilagay mo din ang modes and terms of payment mo. sa laki kasi ng project mo, kailangan naka black and white na yan. good luck!
