FaceLift #2 (Client A Residence)

Post by bokkins on Wed Aug 11, 2010 6:40 pm

Hi guys, here's a latest proposal I just finished. It's a simple facelift and the addition of a trellis. I did this one in photoshop using the layer technique. What I did was I added several layers and drew on them without touching the original layer.

Here's the original house.

And this is my facelift.

Hope you like it. Smile

Few questions Bokks,

1. Is the trellis made of wood or metal and painted?
2. The roofing on the lower level are removed? for what reason?

Suggetions:

1. The horizontal lines/wood on the upper part of the gate, better make it thinner it closes the view.
2. Stone treatment is fine but I think sa upper level pwede wala na otherwise extend it up to the ceiling and make it wider end to end of the windows sill.
3. Lamp posts should stay.

Thanks guys.

I did this one really quick kaya medyo sketchy na hilaw. I agree na may mga distortion pa. I'd like to present this sa client as somehow ito ang magiging look nya when redone.

@kurdaps: I removed the partial roofing para mas maliwanag sa loob ng bahay, Filtered naman ang ilaw kaya hindi mainit. The purpose of those roofing was to protect the windows, but with the new trellis with glass or polycarbonate, protected na din sya at mas malawak pa ang coverage. Tubular ang trellis para matibay. Painted finish lang. Sa stones naman, pag-aaralan ko pa ulit yan. Naging filler lang ang sa taas, I'm planing to put something like a sconce. And add lighting din sa fence, but not the old one.

Thanks bro sa mga suggestions, I'll take note of those. I'm waiting for the clients reply for the meantime. Smile
