HELP! Mac Powerbook

Can anyone please teach me how to reformat a Mac powerbook without using the slot drive? Bago pa lang kasi ako sa mac at nasira kasi ung drive niya kaya di ko magamit yung supplied Mac OS X 10.4 CD. Pwede bang gamitin na lang ung external drive ko para dun magboot ung installer? Paano? Thanks in advance!

SIr kailangan yung mac OS X na cd mo yung gagamitin mo pang format kung nasira siguro yung cd-rom kailangan mo siguro bumili ng external cd-rom para magamit mo yung installer na nsa cd. thanks sana makatulong.
