is dual or tripple SLI necessary for CG works?

hi guys..good day..
tanong ko lang po if necessary ba ang dual sli sa CG works?
well im using GTX 465, eh since bumaba ang presyo nito,and with a 1000w PSU, balak ko mag dual SLI,

well i just want to know the pros and cons kung naka dual sli, ano po advanage niya and ok po ba ito?or ill just wasting money..

I think mas magiging halimaw ang video card mo. Parang GTX 465 plus plus. Pero kung satisfied ka na sa gamit, stick to it nalang.

Bigtime ito sa gaming, but I think, gaming and cg has alot in common in terms of video card. Kung mura lang, why not try it. It's still an upgrade anyway.

astig siguro nyan hehe..3x486 ....1gb ba yan na 256 bit? medyo sinisinok din pc ko sa 260 ko balak ko upgrade baka binebenta mo na din yan hehe..

btw 3 sli na ba mobo mo?

yup sir 1gb, 256bit ddr5..
yup triple sli ready siya sir kaso ang di ko lang alam kung kakayanin ng 100watts..
anyway dual lang yung balak ko sir..di pa triple..hehe

you dont need sli for cg but if you want go for it,or just a suggestion how about sell that 465 and buy a 480 instead..goodluck bro!

Better if you can afford 3 SLI GPU, andyan na ang future ng rendering , CPU+GPU rendering .. i'll post a new tutorial soon about Mentalray IRAY which uses both CPU + GPU Power.. so if your into CG .. go for it .

yup, vray rt, runs from your gpu..wow! if that is the case, get 480 bro! i dont think they will have a support for sli yet or in the near future...but again i may be wrong.
