Post by nomeradona on Tue Dec 23, 2008 6:10 pm

with global warming, melting ice on the arctic due to the brown cloud which cause by nonetheless us... i have no doubt that architectural designs will incorporate the use of renewable energy. im attaching a site that promotes solar panels and design. so if you want to see the latest news. save this in your favorite. I hope also this could be a discussion on how in our way could promote and influence others about alternative energy... Go CGP co green.

Thanks bro. malaking effect nga ito sa environment. Right now, China is still on its experimental stage on producing the cheapest solar panels ever. Pag naayos na nila ang technology dito, Im sure magiging standard na to sa architecture.

Dito sa Philippines, ngcollaborate ang TeamEnergy and ROX store sa fort para mabigyan ang mga bahay sa bundok ng solar panels. Cool project. 2thumbsup

sa school nga namin. i want to push using solar panels as desing wiht our new building due to be erected next year. Im advocating nga na if we an educational institution will do the intitiative by being an example to the rest. our head of schools and principal agreed entirely, kaya lang overule kami ng mga owners, saying its much expensive nga. hay..... anyway yun hindi daw itutuloy because everyone is wathing the effect of the global economic crisis. so preno muna.

the only sad thing po dito sa pilipinas is money,,,,we all know na ang pilipinas ay maraming alternative energy pwedeng pagkunan pero dahil walang budget for that,,,wala rin nangyayari,,

Nasasayang lang ito kaya ang mga rich foreign countries ang nag aalok to do research on this and in the end,,sila din makikinabang...

during ramos time we were one of the company who did a masterplan about alternative- energy for philippines. at that time kasi puro brownout, that was also the time the ramos governement had sign a lot of contract with energy provided daw...

but according to the study.. ideal na ideal ang pilipinas for solar, wind, sea current, geo thermal energy... sayang nga hindi natatap... ewan ko anu nangyari sa study na yun....

Our province, Leyte's electric power is derived from Geothermal energy supplied by the Tongonan Geothermal Plant. I think nagsusupply na rin siya ng ilang percentage sa cebu and nearby islands..kasi sobra-sobra ang naibibigay niya sa town namin eh.

Sana nga in a few years from now, makapag solar energy na rin tayo, para tipid sa gas...

i think this is a calling to us designers and architects to promote our professional responsibilities to educate the people that relies on our services through integrating sustainability of whatever projects that we may face...i agree of whatever ingenuity that we could think of,,,as long as it is viable and does not compromise environmental sustainability...
