3d max configure user paths problem

good day to all! ask ko lang sana kung ano kaya solution ng problem ko.. kasi basta configure user paths ako nagcracrash ang max ko. ano kaya pwedeng solution sa problem na yun mga sir? im using 3d max 2009 64bit and vray sp2 64bit.thank you!

what do you mean nagka-crash ang MAX?? bigla na lang bang namamatay?? ano ba specs ng PC mo??

i do it by;

>configure user paths
>external files
>add
>choose the folder, check add subpath
>then ok...
pero ganito po lumalabas;

"An error has occured and the application will now close."
No scene changes have occured since your last save.


specs po ng pc is
i7 870
8gig ddr3 ram

Wala akong makitang error sa kin eh, saan ba galing yung mga files mo?? galing ba siya sa 32 bit??? or dati ka bang nag format ng mga HD mo kaya nalilito siya kung saang path siya pupunta??

sa rig ko sa pinas sir diko rin na encounter to. 64bit sya dati sir. bagong rig dito sa ofis sir.kasi pag merge ako ng archmodels wala mga texture nya sir kaya user path ko tapos error na.thanks!

yes nangyayari sakin yan, lalo na nung nag win7 64 ako...try mo to, "shift+T" or Asset Tracking then pag nasa loob ka na, select mo yung item na wala pang path then right click ka and then "set path". Pero mas maganda kung iisang folder lang ang lahat ng mga materials mo, ipasok mo sa project mo. Very Happy
