Single Xeon CPU Vs Dual Xeon Cpu

Mga Sir..Tanong ko lang..Which is faster A single Xeon E5620 (2.4GHz) or a Dual Xeon E5503 (2.0Ghz)? Other computer specs are the same..

Hi Xeon E5620 will be faster, because the Xeon E5503 is only dualcore.

There's no point in setting up a slow dual processor unit for rendering or workstation. Go with the fastest single processor setup you can buy.

im biased with dell.hehe I like alienware and the dell setups kasi, but the best is boxx if you can afford it, their technical support understand 3d industry

i think same ang sagot nito sa first question.

12gig ram will not help speed up the render for small scenes or big scenes that does not exceed 6gb. As long as your scene can be handled by 6gig of ram the faster processor will render faster.
