Macbook Pro 17 2011 Vs Alienware 17x R3 3d Laptop

Hi Guys, I need some suggestions and comments. If budget is not an issue, which one would you prefer?

A Sexy slim Macbook Pro 17 2011 Vs a Beast Alienware 17x R3 3d Laptop.

They have the same speed, similar prices. Macbook pro is more portable, Alienware has 3d, bluray capabilities but almost 2 times heavier.

Any thoughts?

Sir I think wala ka pang alam sa UNIX backend.. better research more para clear sa lahat at wag umasa sa sinasabi ng website mismo ng apple sympre its marketing .. I've been a linux user since 1994 at ang mac po ay galing sa mini-unix na structure.. which is also the root of linux .. Unix po and pinagmulan nila lahat .. permissions lang ang hinahawakan nilang security beyond that pwede na mapasok kahit anong system .. again po nasa user if he/she allows it mapapasok at mapapasok yan kahit naka mac kapa or windows.

sorry bro but i dont read yesterday's newspaper- it is 2011 already. Better yet research on your own to learn about Mac.

virus free means your free from worrying about virus attack or all of that sort.

I'll just Echo what edosayla said... "there's no such thing as Virus Free!!!" Mac pa yan, Windows or Linux...

Medyo Off Topic na ito at tatapusin na natin ang discussion : Mac ang nabili na ng TS clear na lang natin ang topic regards naman sa virus free ..



Sir Galaites07 with the word "mag-aral tungkol sa paksa bago punahin ang iba" .. i believe kasama ka na rin dyan .. lahat tayo kailangan mag aral kaya nga may forum para ma discuss at ma correct nag mali .. anyway if e push mo talaga ang gusto mo its your choice the point lang dito is wag natin dalhin ang ibang members sa maling akala .. remember sir , walang 100% sa software. Again kung ayaw mo e accept na mali ka it's your point of view ,ang sa amin lang is ma give caution sa mga members na kailangan pa rin mag ingat. Everyday thousands of virus and programs being made for both mac and windows andyan lang mga yan at nag hihintay ng glitch sa software.



Para po sa mga members you can have your own research if I'm wrong or not its all about learning and to accept ang mali wag po kayo mag sasabi na alam nyo na lahat kasi lahat tayo learners at walang pupuntahan ang learning kung patigasan ng ulo.

Ganito na lang ask kita ng question bakit kaya meron antivirus for mac na ginawa? common sense cguro na meron virus kasi gumawa sila ng antivirus hindi naman sila cguro bobo para gawan ng antivirus na virus free naman pala in the first place and to tell you anong virus go check google cguro nga wala kang alam kung ano ang pinag iba ng trojan sa virus ? Trojan and viruses are the same in nature , Trojan is a sleeping virus it was program to be in your system for a long time and it will activate it self on a certain period (ASSEMBLY 101 Class) .. again po sana kung gusto mong tumulong wag mong gawing tama ang mali.

I know na-lock na ang thread na to. FYI lang from experience.

Mac has a very good virus protection which windows based systems should adapt. Almost virus free ang Mac. Pero I remember, nasira ang Mac ng friend ko dahil lang sa isang virus. Very rare case. I don't remember the name of that virus lang.
