Autocad2009 PROBLEM: Running Out of System Memory
To all CGPinoy Members... I would like to share my experience with Autocad2009
Autocad2009 prompts running out of system memory every time i switch from model tab to layout tab at say 10 times or more... i never had a problem about this using autocad2007. i just switch from Autocad2007 to 2009 just today for my new computer.
more problem is that whenever i close the pop up, either yes or no... it keeps on popping up.. ayaw mag close, kaya i go to task manager to end the task without actually saving any changes...
i am actually opening the same file which i was currently using in cad2007... grabe sakit ng ulo toh... di ko namalayn english na pala toh... hehehe.. nwei, anyone experiencing the same problem and had fixed it, patulong namn... or thoughts about this... maybe me mali sa computer setting ko... if no choice i guess il go for autocad2007 uli or maybe 2008 nlng...
note: autocad2009 is the only running application... in the screenshots if u can see mozilla there (that was wen i started searching na sa net bout the problem)

for my PC info:

baka unstable pa. kung hindi mo naman kailangan mga features ng 2009, why not go back to more stable versions like 2004 or 2007.

are you working on paper space?... with mview enabled?... try working on model space, mas mabilis in my experience...
im using autocad architecture09 but i've never encountered that problem... come to think of it, ive never encountered that problem with previous versions too...

just to follow up Sir erick's reply.....let your computer analyze performance tuner for your autocad.
on your autocad, type 3dconfig , then go to Manual Tune, on Manual Performance Tuning, press Reset to recomended values.
If still no success, the last thing was to reinstall your autocad. if still not, were sorry.

Re: Autocad2009 PROBLEM: Running Out of System Memory
tama si sir bokkins ! marami pa bugs ang version na yan ...but if nakakatulong try to make sure na naka 2d mode ka sa version na yan even sa version 2008 bumibigat pa ang file ...di tulad ng mga stable versions na 14 , 2004 and 2007 ..bumibigat talaga lalo nakagamit ka ng 3d pan ,3d zoom, and all tools sa 3d in viewing 2d drawings , palagay ko jan ang bugs sa program..try mo lng cguro naka 2d mode lahat...ill try to figure it out di ko pa masyado nakakapa ang 2009 ...

@dumzblood
bro just type "vtduration" sa command line then change the value to "0" para bumilis ung pagpan at pagzoom mo.

same din po dito, kaya mas maganda kong balik nalang sa 2007 version.. baka nga po hindi pa stable ung version na to.. 2009 version din po kasi gamit ko now.. mabagal talaga sa 3d at rendering na xa ginagamit..
