vray displacement modifier

can anyone please enlighten me kung para san yung vray displacement modifier? i found a tutorial bout it, but it really doesn't explain yun talagang ability ng modifier na yun. thanks!

thanks sir onel?tama ba?haha! does it override the amount of displacement you put in the material editor? o kailangan pang timplahin between the 2?

normally bitmap on the vraydisplacementmod is enough,, but to gain full control, i rather put it on material editor so that i can tweak its tiling.
