Thesis help.

hihingi po kami ng advice for our Thesis.
our first option is Elementary school here in cavite, and secondly is overpass sa baclaran.

regarding po sa overpass, we will redevelop the overpass. or babaguhin ung overpass.
magpopropose po kami ng "center"?
contains shops, restaurants (fastfood chains), basically po mga
interests po ng mga tao or pedestrians since na matao po ang baclaran.
bali yung design po ng
dinedescribe ko para po syang isang train station.
ano po yung
magandang advice nyo po para po dyan tsaka din po about sa elementary school here in cavite.

Elementary School vs. Overpass

I don't know how far you can go with the overpass in terms of design, aesthetics, so that it would pose a substantial challenge as an architect without overwhelming the practicality of the project in terms of its cost... that's the limiting factor...

I would go with the elementary school, our country needs it, easy to justify and defend.

Lets not burst the enthusiasm of the TS by saying it's too simple... i think it's irresponsible...
Whats the big difference of a university against an elem. school? An elem. school may have all the amenities of the university...
Full track & field ground, gym, auditorium, library, clinic, chapel, etc.... you may want to include in your proposal green energy to power the school if you really want to make it more challenging... There's no simple projects, it's always up to the designer/ architect to up the ante and bring the challenge...

IMHO po. siguro po sir tingnan din natin iyong demand sa cavite. Philippine education is a great problem to solve. pero start po tayo sa micro muna. kaylangan ba ng cavite ang elementary school? or may proposal ba ang government na scholl. and the funding din ay mahirap na kalaban sa thesis.

our other proposal option po pala is Agri-Ecotourism here in cavite po uli. the specific location of the site is in Kawit.
it features these.

Three major components comprise the
project:

-histo-cultural, which will feature the 14 presidents of the Republic
of the Philippines;

-agri-ecotourism, which will feature a health park and a
boardwalk for seafood festival, fishing, bird watching, aerobic exercise,
meditation, among others;

-mangrove rehabilitation project, which will
provide a central mangrove nursery to produce planting materials for the
project.



we havent yet gathered infos regarding this sir. wala po ksi kaming idea about sa Eco-tourism kung ano yung mga pasiko-sikot nito.first time

Base lang po sa nangyayari sa school po namin, ay marami din po talaga nag popropose ng ecotourism. target po ng ecotourism ay ma-preserve ang existing site as well as maging tourist spot po ito at to educate travelers habang kumikita pambayad sa preservation/maintenance.
bali madami talaga pwede po ilagay sa ecotourism.

IMHO po, try ninyo po pagsamahin ang idea nitong mangrove conservation ninyo po at ecotourism po. magandang combination po ito para maging multi-purpose ang proposal ninyo po.

kasi po sir hindi ko po maelaborate sa sarili ko yung mismong ecotourism. ano po bang typical na laman ng isang eco-tourism? iisa lang po ba yung mangrove rehabilitation/preservation/conservation sa eco-tourism po?
maganda po sana sa yung project na nakita ko eh. nababawasan lang ako sa tapang kasi hindi ko po alam kung pano i-eelaborate .

ito po ay sa pagkaka-alam ko po, it depends po sa pinopromote ng project mo po. ang ecotourism po kasi (base sa mga nag thesis nito po sa school) ay isang way nagpopromote ng natural resources, at gawing tourist spot. (gaya po ng sabi ko po lately)

sa composition naman po ng ecotourism, madaming choices, museum, gallery, botanical garden, actual forest reserve (gagawan mo lang po ng path), theme park, etc. madami po. basta't nasa concept ka po ng promoting the importance of ecosystem, at the same time nage-educate din po ng travelers. (na nagco-complement naman po sa mangrove preservation mo po)
