digital camera (point-and-shoot)
im planning to buy a digital camera for my wife (point-and-shoot type). what brand you guys might suggest? im looking at sony cybershot but if you have a better suggestion, let me hear it. have a nice day and TIA.

Hi. If ever you have the alloted budget sir & can stretch it a bit, I would suggest a Panasonic LX5. For starters, it can be a regular point & shoot...but at the same time if she became more interested in honing her photographic skills, this little camera can grow with her creative side. hope this helps.

I second that. LX5 din ang suggestion ko.

Agree with LX5!
You can even use it yourself for street photography.
But if you want a straight point & shoot try Coolpix S9100. it's half the price of the LX5.
