What do you think about Render settings?
First topic message reminder :
hey guys, i just want to ask your opinion about this.. itong kasama ko sa office thinks that all of the render settings ay iisa lang, kasi madami sya nakikita lalo sa facebook na humihingi ng settings, basta inimport mo yung model at nakuha mo settings ng iba render na agad.. sabi ko naman hindi lang iisa ang render settings ng mga yan dahil may iba't ibang klaseng scenes or mood na gusto mo i-achieve and understand the parameters ng vray settings kung ano gamit non pero he doesn't seem to believe, so what do you think guys?

Re: What do you think about Render settings?
for me iba ang render settings sa lighting settings. sa render settings: kapag vraycam gamit ko ibaseetings tapos standard cam iba rin settings.(day/night) kung ano nakasanayan mo.( kagaya ko over the years meron na akong naformulate na settings na para sa akin eh pwede both ways. depende na lang kung mahilig kang magexperement ng mga ibang settings.) for lighting settings un ang iba iba. depende sa mood. sa ps na ako nag aadjust. so kung ang ibig sabihin nya sa render settings pwedeng mangyari un. pero kung sa lights di pwede. sana hindi ako nakagulo.

'diputs' ba yan sa wikang english? sounds more aggressive,
inihaw, if you wont active the environment slots, i say all are similar but not the same. Easy explanation is that all render setting slots have different values/options that is why it cant be the same. Options provided have different effect like light cache is different effect from brute force and soon and so forth. What is the use of option if they are all the same, isnt it?you pro
I would also say that you would need at least 6 or more major settings to do work if you are really a 3D enthusiast. Also, it would be best to understand all parameters to save time in rendering. (how i wish i have i7 during scanline render era-would it be great?)
summary is not the same, maybe can be similar.

To the original poster - my advice is to refrain from arguing with him. The best way to make him come to the fold is to let him suffer with his ignorance and to make sure that all your work speaks well of what you preached.
Goodluck!

that's what i did.. i just wanna prove my point that's all but instead he proved me wrong based on his opinion and what he sees, so i just opened the topic here in CGP to ask the members opinion about it rather than still argue to prove my point.. just like what sir whey said "mahirap makipag talo sa walang alam"
