Ano na ang nangyayari sa salita natin?

Post by bokkins on Sun Jul 24, 2011 7:40 pm

First topic message reminder :

Napapansin ko lang lately, ano na nga ba ang nangyayari sa salita natin. Bakit gustong gusto nyong gamitin ang mga salitang maling mali. Halimbawa ang paggamit ng "KU"

Hindi ku alam... Kailangan kulang malaman....

Ganito na ba ka bobo ang mga bagong henerasyon? Nakakalungkot. Sana pilitin pa rin nating gamitin ng tama ang ating salita. Huwag tayong masanay sa mali. Lets make it a point na in everything we do, we do it right, or at least we try.

Kulit ng thread na ito. Very Happy

Where and how to start.

English - universal language, market globally and be globally competitive at the same time. (lalo na ibang lahi na hindi nakakaintindi ng tagalog). Since our main goal is not only to learn but to show our works globally and be able to communicate globally(hindi lang palage filipino). Malay natin. Would it be nice if we are able to compete communicate globally?

Suggestion lang. Maganda sana.
Nakakaligtaan ko rin minsan textspeak and still not an excuse. hehehe. elephant

Hindi naman talaga ako galit na galit sa mga nagtetextspeak. Minsan nasususpend lang kasi patung-patong ang pagkakamali kasi hindi pa nabasa ang rules, kaya nasususpend agad. Istandardize lang natin para maganda naman tingnan, kaya nagkaroon tayo ng set of simple rules.

I'm not against the rules mga Sir pero sana lang po huwag masyadong
mahigpit sa mga words when ethnicity is involved like misplacement of
vowels (ex. Kasi/Kase). Hindi ko alam kung ganito talaga kayo mag salita
pero I pronounce it "kaseh" instead of "kasih" na medyo matigas. I
think it's not a big deal. Dahil may mga words talaga na kahit nung
pagka bata ay ginagamit na or nakasanayan na. Siguro be more considerate
sa mga words na ganito.

In case of mga textspeak at jejemon
words, ito talaga ang dapat iwasan o puksain. Masakit talaga sa mata mag
basa ng mga jejemon words.

"kung anong bigkas, siyang sulat."
-naalala ko lang 'yung turo ng teacher ko.

and share ko lang:
tagalog ≠ Pilipino ≠ Filipino.
Filipino is a combination of different languages and dialects in the Philippines and even from other countries like Spain and America. And through time, it has evolved and continuously evolving.
For example: cuarto = kwarto.

As a conclusion, spelling is not an issue if it can be read and understood properly. Words are use to express and to communicate WELL. thumbsup

Hindi ko nagets bro.

Ikaw din pala, nasanay na gumamit ng "panu"? Tanong lang bro, bakit ka nasanay sa ganyan. Lets say hindi mali. or pwede mo bang i-explain. Question lang to bro. No offense meant. I want to know lang how it lead to that word, from "paano".

To let us see how he pronounce it.Parang sa dictionary.

Unconscious transition yata:P or ata?tongue

Ngunit hindi palagi/palage akong nagkakamali. May mga pagkakataon na dahil nagmamadali o masyado akong nagpapadala sa aking naguumapaw na damdamin kaya minsan ganoon/ganun ang nagagamit kong mga salita.

"Aaaah ganun ba?" o "A ganoon ba?" alin kaya sa dalawang parirala na ito/ito ang gagamitin mo pagkatapos/pagkatapus mong basahin ang aking kasagutan.tongue (Of course you'll answer the second one!, but me I'll be honest I'll be unconsciously using the first one).

Sana naliwanagan po kayo.

ganoon to ganun is given and is approved. yata and ata is also ok. I think the following will be approved siguro in time.

panu
a.k.u
k.u.
kulang (for ko lang)
interchanging I and E.
adding H after a word, like toh, po, sometimes koh.

Medyo naliliwanagan na ako ngayon sa discussion na ito. I and my co-moderators will consider most of these but will still push for the correct usage of the words.

Thank you guys for your cooperation.

Nilagyan ko ng "h" iyong huli for pronounciation lang, for a better understanding. Hindi ako ganun mag type ng words. Kahit sa text messaging hindi ako gumagamit ng ganyan. Sorry kung na misunderstood mo.

Tama siguro si xtianatix. Sometimes "we write what we speak". Most of us siguro ganito, ewan ko lang sa iba.

Sorry, hindi ko lang naintindihan, parang wala naman kasing H kahit sa pronunciation. Pauso nalang yung mga nagbibigkas ng kasi ng may H.

Mali din yung "we write what we speak. Kasi ibig sabihin lang, mali ang pag-speak. Usually kasi tugma yan. Speech and writing. Meaning mali sila sa both use of language.

in the end choice ninyo yan kung ano ang gusto niyong gamitin.

ill be honest. when someone applies for a job in our company, i also scrutinize the way they express themselves in the forums. communication is also important to our industry you see. and im not being regionalistic here - most of our staff, including myself are not from manila and sometimes we do not understand each other sa pagbikas pero pag sa written format, i don't encounter this "pa crit naman pu" or anything to that effect.

mejo subjective talaga pag language. pero don't be surprised if you would not be taken too seriously when you are out dealing with corporate clients. i dare you write a proposal or an email with these spellings apart from what was taught to us in our Filipino language classes. if it is your choice to be complacent with your communication skills, then again - all up to you.

interestingly, ito ang isa sa mga naalala ko sa discussion na to:

Reginald Fleming 'R.J.' Johnston: Words are important.
Pu Yi, at 15: Why are words important?
Reginald Fleming 'R.J.' Johnston: If you cannot say what you mean, your majesty, you will never mean what you say and a gentleman should always mean what he says.

this is what happened when technology reinvents culture... problema na rin ng mga Filipino teachers sa ngayon... how can we end it? Hindi na natin mababago yan... unless ma-ban ang paggamit ng text messages sa mobile phones. That is where it begun.

Most of teenagers ganito mag type. They put "h" sa mga word that ends in vowels like "po", "opoh", "mustah", "anoh". I think they used it para maging malambing o pacute. Gumagamit din ako nito dati nung highschool pero iniwasan ko na dahil baka masanay.

I must admit mali talaga iyong "we write what we speak". Mahirap talaga baguhin ang nakasanayan na lalo na sa pag sasalita or pagbigkas. Siguro sa pagtatype maiiwasan pa pero in terms of speaking, mahirap na talaga.

Kung magagawan nila ng system ang mga Celtext at "Jejemon" na kasing complex ng english system(impossible). I wont argue. Since ganyan naman talaga nagevolve ang language at communication. Example Spanish-Chavacano(broken spanish). Spanish-ilocano(few words), etc. English/Tagalog-Celtext(short English/tagalog.)Puwede ba natin sabihin na mali mga dialect na yan since nagoriginate din sila with the same concept as "celtext"?.Society is already accepting this facts.
Change is always constant in every aspect of life and basically everything. But there are certain rules(system) that governs it. So we must act accordingly(language etc. etc) with this set of rules.

though i may agree sa mga sinasabi niyo that language is "evolving", it does not necessarily mean that it is accepted as the formal language. kaya nga me tinatawag na colloquial and slang.

and in my years of observation, msyadong generation - driven ang slang. for example - sino sa inyo ang nakakaalam kung ano ibig sabihin ng "jeproks" at "datung"? at kung alam niyo man, ang ganitong mga salita ba e ginagamit sa formal setting?

Guys, once again para simple lang. This is my take on the whole subject.

Ang request ng admin, para dito lang naman sa loob ng forum mismo. He just wants the site to look professional. Hindi naman niya layuning ibahin ang naging progresyon ng pananalita ayon sa kultura o anupamang kadahilanan. Ganoon lamang kasimple. Outside the forum you can "poeh, opow, ditoh, ano, panu, ktakts tau, or whatever" to your hearts content.

Conscious effort lang po tayo to follow the rules, hindi naman talaga mahirap. Tao lang tayo nagkakamali talaga pag minsan. Pero dapat di na natin inuulit ang mga pagkakamaling iyon di po ba? Diyan na rin makikita ang disiplina natin sa ating mga sarili..

sa kabilang banda sa online communication like "chat". a lot of research has suggested, online chatting is a form of "talking" (hindi mo nga lang marinig) but the communication is very informal talaga. ito ang naging dahilan kaya dapat mabilis kang magtype o gumamit ka ng shortcuts like brb (be right back) or LOL (lough out loud). Ito rin ang dahilan kung bakit ang mga emoticons ay ginagamit para iparamdam yung degree ng emotion sa pamamagitan nito. Alam naman po ito ng CGP at mga admin dito. Kaya nga lang dahil ito ay bahay na sinumulan ng ating Sir bokkins, tayo po dito ay inimbitahan lamang.. kung baga mga bisita. Pinapakain, nagpapakain, nangungusap at iba pa.

Not to disrespect sir, but I don't agree with this. I thought the point of this topic is to be aware kung ano nangyayari sa language natin. Huwag natin sana i-apply ito "dito lang sa forum na ito" because it is a rule. We should also apply this kahit saang Pinoy forum na mayroong Tagalog discussion.

No disrespect taken. But I was under the impression that the TS made this topic because of what he sees & reads within the forum itself, and of the rules that he wants implemented.

I personally don't think he's that sanctimonious or hypocritical to believe or make us believe that all the Filipino people should think & talk the way he does, nor to hold sway over the ever changing cultural traits in our country. Just within the forum.

If the TS would please make a statement on this?
