The Revised Escolta

Hindi ko na naupdate yung lumang thread ko ng 'Escolta'...Pinarevise kasi yung buong scene nung Escolta,
hindi daw kasi physically accurate yung Escolta street na ginawa ko...so anyway.....ito pinaghirapan ko ng dalawang araw.
Pinamukha ko na talagang Escolta at nilagyan pa ng masmaraming details





I know it's STILL not perfect and I still have to improve lots of things etc. so any criticism or suggestion is appreciated. (specifically what to improve "in an efficient way" bcoz the deadline is nearing and I don't have any more time to dwell into details)

but judging this, I think this is one great output!

Para mapollute- este mapopulate yung scene? yun na nga yung original plan talaga...Pero aaaysuus, ang hirap at hindi na inabot sa oras...hahahah xD Sayang nga eh mas lively kung may mga ganun talaga...Pero nung nawala na yung mga tao, parang naging 'nostalgic' na yung mood nung film, which is yung target namin na feel...kaya ok lang rin hehe Pagtapos ng showing nito...Lalagyan ko na ng mga tao. XD

Hindi ako nangiiwan ha! Nakakahiya nga eh, ang tagal ko nang hindi nagpopost ng bago, nirerecycle ko lang mga gawa ko!...haha joke xD

hey roy. nice work...its looking good. 3d wise nice maganda na cya , camera work is good, I know mahirap magrecreate ng scene like escolta kasi kukunti yung visual reference, then pansin ko bumibigat na scene mo. pero this one is turning out nice. I'm not sure kung tama yung nakikita ko sa kalye, some tiled textures showing up. And are you rendering this one in passes? compositing could be improved pa...pero over all, galeng!!!

I really like it! Since it seems like you put alot of time into the model and texture work so far, I think it would be nice to cut to some detail shots, slow pans of the storefronts or details of the cars on the street, then cut back to your flythrough. Maybe a crane shot of an old street sign ' Escolta St'...It might take a little longer to render the extra shots, but I think it would add to the mystery of old Manila. Great work on this!

Thanks! Heheheh, medyo mahirap nga. Kaya nirevise ko pa yung scene eh, hindi accurate yung ginawa ko since nagkulang rin sa reference. Tama ka nga doon sa tiled textures sa street...ang dami! @_@ haha, yun rin nanotice ni Papa noong 1st time na pinakita ko sa kanya ito...I've yet to change that...Dami pa kong scenes na kilangan ifinalize eh.. xD Nope, wala akong passes dito. Hindi pa ako sanay gumamit ng passes eh, pero good idea, masmadali nga revisions pag ganun. ttry ko nga Thanks!

Thanks! We actually did those kind of shots before but they were from the old scene, so I just need to update it to the revised version It take a while to create those detail shots but it certainly is worth it! It's those things that really add mood to the scene, + dramatic music ofcourse I'll post them again here when I'm finished rendering them. thanks again
