PUT YOUR VRAY SKETCHUP TIP AND TRICKS HERE.

First topic message reminder :

I realized ang dami pala nating mga experience or small tricks in using Vray Sketchup.. I am starting a post here to share these tips and tricks.. so mga VRAY SU users share nyo sa inyo.

1. Avoiding Color bleed trick.
VraySkethup has no Vray overidde material in correcting color bleeding. this is how you avoid it.

- Render your scene with IR (ist engine) and LC (second engine) you have to disable texture maps. Hit render. Once IR and LC has been calculated, stop rendering and saved the maps.
- Reload the saved IR and LC calcualtions.
- This time hit render again and enable texture maps.

2. Automatic Displacement

- Group the face you want to displace.

3. Using Normal Maps as Bump maps

- If you want a nice bump map, Normal maps works better than bump map. If you want to create a normal map. Download a photoshop Plugin - Nvidia...

volumetric light is not supported. just use photoshop.

basta may reflection ang glass mya kintab yun... why not use hdri environment.. or any enviroment.. baka masyadung malakas ang sun mo kaya baka hinid na nareflect yung white na surrounding.. babaan mo yung multiplier nalang ng background mo.

since vray render thread ito. so focus na lang sa rendering..

Use displacemnt map duon sa roof tile.

I save displacment map into 32 bit HDR. look for previous related items with regards s adisplcament dito rin sa thread na to.

how to do the displacement pala.

madalian method ko.

1. desaturate your nice roof tile (diffuse map) sa photoshop.
2. adjust contrast..
3. copy layer, apply a small amout of gaussian blur
4. adjust opacity of the top layer
5. flatten image
6. then choose image/mode/ adjust to 32bit channel
7. save it into Radiance (hdr)..

yung gray scale ng 32bit channel ay displace ng vray correctly pero yung 8 bit or 16bit makikita mo na although may displacement pero hinid consistent.

caution. dapat malinis talga yung displacement.. kung may mga dent liliotaw ang mga yun... in anyway maganda rin parang texture.
