thanks tutik great presentation too sa 3dsmax mo ba nirender un' using vray? btw... i am not against rhino because to each it's own may kanya-kanya naman talagang limitations at galing ang mga programs... kung accuracy naman... i believed pagdating sa actual execution may mga + and - din yan... in the end magkakaroon din ng allowable margin of error kaya there is no such thing as perfect software in modeling...

last na to' para sa'yo karaoke este ciraoke ba?... anong kinalaman ng pagiging pinoy para ka maging mas magaling sa caucasians? Twisted Evil

useless because quality render is not only based on the software itself. pangmodel ang rhino di sya pang render at kung i-partner mo sya sa vray o ibang renderers di pa dun magtatapos ang quality ng composition mo nasa lighting pa, texturing etc. It's still the artist not the tool. I've provided lots of links na paki back read na lang. Again, no to software war kasi dapat apple to apple pag nagcocompare tayo.

@all >>> what about rhino vs. zbrush? does maya nurbs not good enough vs. rhino? hindi ba't powerful din ang mel scripting ng maya? do i need to compare 3dsmax vs. rhino? Twisted Evil

they've used rhino to easily make 2d documentations. 3d based sila magdesign magstart sa form concept tapos ayan magkakaroon na ng plans etc. ang dami kasing features ng rhino from 2d documentations to 3d up to analysis na hindi ka na aalis sa rhino

Re: Rhino 3D

Post by ciaoriki on Fri Jan 06, 2012 5:49 am

posting a script soon to automate offsetting lines & curves, that would otherwise strainous to do in autocad (if they are extremely numerous), offset algo would be based on object color, default color,then to select new objects(the offseted ones),click at a location, user input size opening,then trim...delete unnecessary lines, then draws the door.

still wip.......

For Each c In curve

If curveStart(1) = curveEnd(1) Then
xformPlane = Rhino.PlaneFromFrame (curveMid, Array(1,0,0), Array(0,1,0))
End If

If curveStart(0) = curveEnd(0) Then
xformPlane = Rhino.PlaneFromFrame (curveMid, Array(0,1,0), Array(1,0,0))
Else
curveVec = Rhino.VectorCreate (curveStart,curveMid)
Rhino.CopyObject curve(ctr), curveMid ,ptRemapAxyz
Rhino.CopyObject curve(ctr), curveMid ,ptRemapBxyz

refplane = Rhino.PlaneFromFrame (Array(0,0,0),Array(1,0,0), Array(0,1,0))
End If

points = Rhino.AddPoints (Array(ptA,ptB))

ptRemap = Rhino.RemapObjects (Array(points(0),points(1)),refplane,xformPlane,vbTrue)
ptRemapAxyz =Rhino.PointCoordinates (ptRemap(0))
ptRemapBxyz =Rhino.PointCoordinates (ptRemap(1))

Rhino.ObjectColor Array(ptRemap(0),ptRemap(1)),co(0,0,255)

worked with ZAHA HADID on chaoyangmen galaxy soho 2 years ago in beijing as interior design consultant sa showroom, kaya napilitang matutu ng rhino, in the end kinonvert pa rin sa 3dmax yung model para sa CNC ng GRG at FRP dito sa china e 3dmax din and gamit sa CNC machine nila, ang isang advantage e madali i convert sa autocad yung mga cross sections para sa construction drawings.

some of my rhino works
my apartment design 1 by artedesenyo, this is my apartment design

and this is the project i worked for zaha, http://www.nathanielmcmahon.com/blog/tag/soho/ , if im not mistaken yung company ni celes ang nag render ng exterior nito.

Much better kung matutunan mo lahat yan sayo pa din ang favor... kung ano yun trending na software dapat matutunan para kahit papano makakasunod ka... by learning center man yan o self study... I'm starting Rhino, Zbrush, Maya, Softimage... self study lang... I think what important is yun willingness mo matuto...
