DOF Tutorial
First topic message reminder :
i posted this tutorial before pa sa 3dpinoy, and i think its time to share it again here... this is for sir guru nomeradona, who never stops teaching us newbies... here it is... for old version of vfsu....

1. use the tape measure (T) to get the distance of the 1st point of camera
2. upto the 2nd point of object view of desire.
3. for my personal preference, i always change my unit of measurement to imperial (feet/inches), as for all we know, sketchup default DOF perimeter should be in inches...convert the indicated value (6'-1/8") to inches (approx. 72")
4. open up the vray options and expand the camera parameters and tick (on) the Depth Of Field category, they gave a fine default settings on aperture, center bias, aperture and subdivs... but if you want to get a more blurry effect, increase the aperture from 0.1 upto desired value (hope i'm correct, give me additional info bout DOF blurryness.. hehehe...) you can also increase the subdivs there (i have a slow pc that time thats why 8 was enough for me), uncheck the override focal distance then input the value you've computed awhile ago ( i used 70" just to give it a whole numerical value, 2" is not far from your object, its ok...) then hit RENDER!!
