extruding a wall from cad to max

mga cgpeeps, tanong ko lang po kung bakit ganito yung wall ko kapag ineextrude ko sa max. parang hindi siya solid tignan?. paano po ba ito?.. salamat po sa pagtulong !

you are extruding a line / broken spline....it must be a closed line / spline.

yes sir, it must be close. there are lots of ways.. see these:
- you can use boundary object in autocad then select region para extrusion na lang sa 3d max,
- or you can use aec wall instead.
- or spline/lines in 3dmax/ trace all exterior wall lines / converted to poly -->> poly select then inset -->> extrude
- or spline pa rin, traced exterior wall line, extrude that spline, apply shell
- or model it in autocad, import / file link na lang.
