so this is the best place to post if you want to receive non-bias, in-your-face-cc which good for newbies and hardcore critics..while the old show-me-your-archiviz will be *hugs-and-kisses thread* natin?

redundant imo, if only the archiviz serves what it meant to be.. this is one good thread lookin' forward to grow..

I would say that this could also be something like, tell me more of what I can do to make this look really good. Sometimes what we think is ok isn't really ok at all. lalo na pag mapride tayo. Sometime you have to let down your defenses para mapenetrate talaga ang weakness mo. Once na masalang ka sa thread na to, I think you will find more of your inner self.

On the other hand, the archi gallery would be something like "I just wanted to share this work I did for..." CNC's welcome but im doing it on my next render(which is usually the case.) but not all the time.

Maybe, once this thread is working, masasanay na tayong magcomment ng intensive critic type. then saka nalang natin imerge.

This is something like between WIP and 3d Gallery. Actually, ayaw ko na sana ng mga ganito kasi nawala na ung essence ng "simplified forum type." Sana lang talaga wag mabakante katulad ng MAYA discussion. wala pa din laman hanggang ngayon. haha.

nice idea neil! i totally am eager to see how this turns out.

i just hope there are some pointers na most members would agree when going into this section -

1. for the topic starters

- be prepared to get all sorts of criticisms. pag mejo balat sibuyas, ma-pride, better than you attitude, pikon, kulang sa vitamin B, di na breastfeed nung baby pa, in other words kung marami kayong hangups, don't attempt to jump into the fire - you'll just get burned.. away lang ang ending niyan. also i agree with austria - lahat naman tayo pareho ng levels dito, which means, lahat me karapatan mag puna or magbigay ng opinion. whether the critics are better or not doesnt matter - as long as valid ang pointers.

2. to the critics

- sana, bawal dito ang mga sobrang pintasero at kontra just for the sake of it. always comment on the output, straight to the point. kung pwede iwasan ang mga sarcastic na remarks. and also, since critic unit nga to, pwede bang i filter out ang mga statements like "idol", "lufet", "buttrock"? sa kabilang section na lang yan please.

if you ask me it's high time na merong ganito, para masanay lahat sa criticisms. the other international forums are less kinder, and yet they produce really good results kasi no holds barred ang comments. i personally believe na perfect example dito is a diamond.. bago yan maging polished, dumadaan yan sa extreme heat and friction. same thing applies to developing a skill. kelangan dumaan sa trials bago talaga ma perfect ang talent. it is not enough that you have the inspiration passion conviction at kung anu ano pang ions.

this is very scary, (for us newbies) but really would be very helpful..ive seen the hardcore crits of sir vertex, mapapanting talaga tenga mo pero in the process maiisip mo it's very constructive. anyway, this could be a great pool of new ideas everybody could learn kahit na hindi ka magpost ng gawa mo, although it would be great if the unit could have your work bombarded with crits too.
