Sa akin ok lang din to...although kahit sa main forum, nagbibigay na din ako ng pointers.

We all know that there are members of this community who cannot quickly accept honest criticisms, it is a fact that each members will just have to accept. That's why, most of us are quite cautious when giving out critiques to someone's work.

Let's help each other out, kung may pwede kayong i-share then by no means share it with us. Ganun ka simple...

i think it is sufficient na we learn from those. wag na ungkatin pa ang nakaraan..

we've been around since the old 3dpinoy forums.. there is actually one particular character that always dishes out sensible but in-your-face comments. kaya madami siyang nakabangga, but at the same time meron din naman siyang supporters. strangely though, the ones who supported him are among the best in the industry (IMUHO) i guess kilala niyo kung sino un. anyway he disappeared..

alam ko namang si dude vertex ang tinutukoy mo dude, and I admire him....sya nga ang sample kung baket di n kelangan ng ICU e, di ba? I mean he's doing it already and I salute him for that... what I'm saying is pag magbabanggit naman tayo, ung concrete at wag ung "sa dating forum".."marami dyan"...blah..blah..blah....sana ung may bayag, so to speak..sorry dude boks...

what I'm saying here is...kung cruel at brutal pala na crits ang gusto natin pero ngayon palang medyo balat sibuyas na tayo e san pa tayo pupunta nyan? dito plang e maramdamin na tayo..hehehe joke lang dude mushroom....peace tayo...

Is he really disappeared???WHY??Sayang nmn.I myself considered him as one of the good critic here.He pushed me even more which I personally appreciate it.Bihira na kse yung ganun.Yeah i know kung medyo pikon ka at ma pride maaasar ka talga!hehehe.E yun e kung pikon ka at ayaw mong matuto.This is in my humble opinion lng mga bro.As i have said before i learned a lot from those constructive crits and praises as well.Its really up to the person kung pano nya iaangat sarili nya.Even if we tell him what he supposed to do kung di nmn makikinig so whats the point of telling him those things?Diba?Anyways lets see na lng po kung anong magiging effect ng ICU.Ganyan nmn sa CGP.Welcome po lahat ng suggestions..More power CGP!

At kung minsan ok lang naman ang image, hindi naman sobrang ganda pero napupunta agad sa featured. O_O Heheheh. Parang pag ganun, bumababa yung level of quality natin eh.

bro naoobserbahan ko pag bago kang member sa CGP and you posted something na meron namang potential ay inilalagay nila sa featured gallery. bakit? well... sa palagay ko bro is para lalong ma-encourage ung bagong member and one way na rin ng pagwelcome sa kanya yun. sa akin kasi pag hindi nafeature ung output ko i take it as a challenge and review my work kung bakit hindi napunta dun then next time mas pagbubutihin ko. by just merely looking at the other side of the coin, iniisip ko na isang way ng mods and admin yun para lalo kong pagbutihin ang gawa ko kasi alam nila na i can do better that that. then pag next time hindi pa rin na-feature... malamang may nakasabayan na mas malulupit ang output and naubusan na ng space hehehe kaya malas lang

actually wala pa tayo ung talaga feature na yan na sinasabi nyo. what we have is like a sneak peak of the better images. To be really honest, wala pa talaga tayo sa kalingkingan ng mga international players, but we've got the potential. It's just that why do you dwell on this. pagandahan? We're here to help one another. The best way to do really is to contribute. If you think you are good, share. That's what we want. hindi ung lalaitin nyo kasi hindi ganun kaganda. c'mon. Pwede nga wala nalang magpost ng mga works nila eh, puro nalang tutorials to. pro syempre gusto din natin makita kung ano ang bago sa isat isa. ung milestone ng gawa nila.

Ako sa sarili ko, I kept on reading tutorials everytime para mainprove naman ang gawa ko at makapagsabayan sa mga international big names. dati ko pa yan talaga gusto. pero it takes time, a good machine, and an eye. time pala talo na ako, good machine medyo humahabol but not quite. eye naman, gusto ko talaga ang arts kaya pwede ko na icheck yan.

Parang ganun lang. tama na ung mga comments na walang kwenta, lalo na pag hindi kayo nakakatulong. alam nyo naman sa sarili nyo yan eh. nagkakagulo gulo lang ang usapan kasi ang daming pasikat.

Ito na ung sinasabi ko na mangyayari bago pa man magstart to. Kung wala naman kayong maishare, tahimik nalang. wala ng moral lesson tong discussion na to.

pasensya na boks healthy discussion lang naman to. everyone has said their piece and that should be enough. requesting for this thread to be locked and let's all just focus on more worthwhile discussions.

Theres nobody here that is stopping us giving negative, hard, on your face comments! Theres nothing wrong with being brutally honest... But Please let's do it with utmost respect and show some good values! Make it constructive...

Minsan nagkaka-initan lang naman dahil yung iba kung mag koment is parang di alam yung "kabutihang asal"... "asal aso" ika nga... in bisaya we call it "nag-basa lng ang simud".... "murag iro, wa juy ayo"... in ilonggo "wa-ay pulos nga komentaryo"...

torvicz, im not referring to garbage comments - rather the ones that are unbiased and straight to the point. this is precisely why the other forum got reincarnated so many times.

suggestion ko rin sa mga newbies and mga gusto pang mag improve ng craft nila to also join international based ones - cgtalk / evermotion / etc. para masanay sa constructive criticism.

I also looked into some ICU comments, and it's just the same...no difference at all...
I don't see any cruel comment so far...but rather kind words from dude keits, hehehe..hi dude!

naku marami niyan sa old forums. and not so constructive? to me yang mga non stop papuri kahit pangit ung pinost does more damage than good, and that is non-constructive.

what i always notice is that kahit parang latak ung pinost eh pinupuri pa. maraming reasons dito - either kababayan, kabarkada, or kilalang pikon so walang nagsasabi na pangit ung gawa. (actually pag kakilala dapat nga mas honest ung mga crits) tapos anjan naman ung mga "master" na pero pag pinintasan mo eh taas kilay agad (actually ung mga away sa old forums nagsisimula jan sa mga "masters" na thread ). so in that light, pano matuto ung nagpost.. ngayon after 10 "lufets" and "nice render post more" replies bigla mong sisingatan ng critique e di nalito na ung nagpost. buti pa nga kung me nag comment tungkol sa pagka latak niya.. eh kung wala, kawawa naman.. he'll grow up thinking that what he did was ok.. kinulangan sa advice eh.

ayan. observation lang naman. but im sure marami rito would agree.

i'm really not for the ICU. if you noticed on the first post, the work is already bombarded with plenty of comments (some good actually), so much that he is drowned and doesn't know where to start. i'm proposing another approach and that is to have a feature where a poster can pick his mentor/s, filter senseless comments from other users so that he will be more focused on making good his work. remember, CG is not all about settings. a good sense of art direction should be established first. we couldn't have none or too much art directions either. filtering has many ways and can be discussed later in detail, i'm trying to establish the idea first. this way we are trying to teach others (by example) how to be a good critic/teacher and learner. i believe that this forum has so much informations for one to pick up skills in CG/viz/art but with the presence of crab mentality, regionalism, pride etc i only consider this as just a point of 'reference.' to hone and develop a 'good artist' one needs a 'good mentor' and that is what's lacking in this forum because 'respect' is not readily established here.

Close ko na to ha, wala ng napapatunguhan ang discussion. You can always read this pro no commenting na. Tuloy nalang tayo sa forums and kung may gusto kayong sabihin, gawa nalang ulit kayo ng specific threads.

Thank you sa participation. ICU didn't work really that well. Sorry to tell you orange and green but that was our final decision. Comment nalang tayo sa Normal forums of what we want. Filter nalang natin pag too much na. Pro pag reasonable naman, we will understand. We're liberated and old enough to understand.
