My Old Sci-Fi artworks
Hi cgpeeps! I just want to share these old Sci-fi artworks I did If I'm not wrong more than 3 years ago..
Since no sci-fi thread yet dito ko lang muna post..
I used Bryce 5 and Vue D'Esprit to generate these images..I'm not quite sure if you guys are familiar with these cool programs..? All the modelling was done in Autocad and a bit in 3ds Max 5, touchup and tweaking done in PS7 . I did these artworks just for fun. But doing these images in a very slow machine was a big challenged for me.. Working in Intel Celeron 700Mhz, 256 RAM, 32 bit Vcard feels like I was pulling a very heavy object. Imagine just to move every single object took around 10 to 15seconds delayed! and rendering for around 1 to 3 days straight without using any UPS hahaha minsan nag brownout alam nyo na kung anong nangyari..toink!
haaayyy...I just miss those days when me and Eyecon01 were sharing ideas with these programs-he's been my mentor and the one who influenced and introduced me these cool stuff. We're like an isolated creatures doing some strange things in town.. coz that time in our place we were the only ones doing that kind of artwork..so sad..no other people to talked.. but thanks to the world wide web! we gain some cyber friends and a bit of knowledge. However, sad to say I'm not using these programs anymore I'm totally hooked up and chained in 3DS Max..but maybe if I have time I'll try those cool stuff again.
Anyways..Sorry for my long message. I hope you like my artworks. C&C are very much welcome.
Special thanks to Eric Dima ala a.k.a Eyecon01
Thank you cgpinoy!

Thank you rockgem. Yeah you're right these images are purely imaginative and ofcourse I cannot generate these artworks without being influenced by the work of others. I also got my inspirations from Starwars, Startrek, Babylon 5, and all those sci-fi movies..

Re: My Old Sci-Fi artworks
Reminds me of some old game cinematics (Starcraft etc.) especially the style.
I applaud your patience! It's hard to create such images, lalo na sa ganung PC, alam ko feeling nyan. hahahah XD I'd like to see more of your recent works. Great job sir wireframan

Thanks alot xboy360..you're right the images has a touch or Strarcraft style. Because I was sooooo... addicted with that game before! hahaha inaabot ako palagi ng madaling araw.. and one of may fav movie that time was the Starship Troopers plus there was also a tv series kaya cguro ganyan kinalabasan ng artwroks ko hehehe..grabe ang influence na naidulot sa akin hahaha.. Yes I'm planning to do some sci-fi stuff again I hope d ako tatamarin kasi iba na ang trip ko ngayun..its been so long long time na hindi na ako nakapag render ng mga ganitong artworks..nakakamis rin mag day dreaming hahaha!
