Alam niyo po ba paano ito ginawa?

Gawa po ito ng isang member dito sa cgpinoy, tatanong ko lang kung paano po kaya ito ginawa posible po ba magawa to sa 3d studio max?

curious lang po ako.

gawa ka ng spline design sa max or pwede galing sa gawa sa autocad. import mo sa max. apply sweep tool. check mo yung paramater ng sweep too. l-shape , may circle meron din rectangular.

gawa ung pattern sa AutoCad tapos import mo ung pattern sa Max then apply FFD modifier para lumapat sya sa isang panel . Kung ok na ung pattern at lapat na lapat na sa panel, add mo sya ng thickness at distribute mo sya by polar array sa bawat panel.

dapat alam mo na ung thickness ng patten mo para di ka na mag trial and error kasi mabagal maglagay ng thickness lalo na kung mabigat ung file at complicated ung pattern.

ilang gabi ko na rin kasi iniisip paano niyo po yun ginawa although di ko naman siya kailangan nacurious lang po ako Very Happy

Or if you want magaan ang render mo, do the Opacity Map, it saves 50% of your time.

Salamat, mahirap siya gawin.

yung pattern magagawa ko using adobe illustrator then import ko sa 3d studio max then weld ko mga vertices.

kapag ginamit naman opacity map masyadong manipis hindi ito magmumukang metal.

maganda kasi yan sa mga simbahan.

Tama kayo malaki polygons niyan.

-I fully recommend this option if hindi naman masyadong malapit sa camera.

BUT: Pero kung malapit sa camera view, just do spline pattern on a box, then copy and apply bend modifier with 360, final touch it with FFD modifier, gawa ka ng guide sphere para mas madali i-shape.

On top of my head, aside from the opacity approach:

If you have vray and quite lazy to do the modelling yourself, remember that you can use vray displacement's Water level to cut out unwanted areas.

The default "0" value in the water level means the same surface, if you make that say, half the displacement value then you will be able to somehow create the illusion of thickness depending on which side the camera is looking at...

gawa ka ng isang "slice" ng pattern - editable spline sa max. subdivide. polar array. bend or use any of the distortion modifiers.

nakita ko na mas madali, basta gawa na yung pattern sa  autocad
then shape merge lang sa 3ds max
