Jean Grey aka The Phoenix
First topic message reminder :
This is my first post here. I just found out about cgpinoy. I've already posted this in zbrushcentral and cgsociety. I thought I should post it here too. Base mesh was created in maya. Details sculpted in zbrush. This was supposed to be a sketch to study the female anatomy but I thought I'd play around with it some more et voila! Hair and phoenix force was added in photoshop. It was rendered using the zbrush native renderer because the topology of the mesh was so messed up pixar renderman outputs had artifacts that i couldn't resolve. Comments are welcome. ehehe. ;-D

Re: Jean Grey aka The Phoenix
Just a suggestion to fellow CGP members, can we perhaps refrain from talking (typing) in dialects and just use the common tongue which is tagalog? I mean for me its fine, kamao man ko musulti ug cebuano (i know how to speak cebuano)... but it just defeats the purpose of forums. We are here to share and how can we share ideas if we keep on talking in dialects?
What can you say mods?
Anyway... Dude nice work on Jean Grey. Yeah I have to agree with the others on a few certain things but like you said its practice so its good practice.
Hope to see more of these dude.

Re: Jean Grey aka The Phoenix
sorry bro .. but i think it's just a simple greetings to our fellow cebuano..,sometimes we talk in our language just to make a simple recognition as a cebuano...for me it's just for fun to type in cebuano wordings...there's nothing there as you notice..just a joke or sometimes a simple greetings..but i always type tagalog or english word most of the other furoms., it's nice to speak sometimes your own dialect speacially your talking to a cebuano kababayan.. i just hope the mods will considered this...

Re: Jean Grey aka The Phoenix
jeremy_torjack, draftbeer80, no worries guys, enjoy reading your thoughts and I do miss to talk in cebuano, bisaya language... I just don't want people to be alienated, pangit kasi pag di mu naiintindihan. You would loose that drive to give responses, heck you know what I mean.....
Cheers dude! Great works hope to see more from you guys...

Re: Jean Grey aka The Phoenix
ok bro thanks..i know what you mean...hmmm, pang okasyon lang naman kong meron bisaya akong usap lang... not all in this forums that i 've type in a bisaya dialect specially on sharing tutorials or talking to impotant discussion.. but some occasion were i need to joke around or greet some one specially an old amigo...we use to have a cebuano friends and also a member from the old 3d forums and some are here, minsan greetings lang or check if sya ba talaga yong bagong name.., i hope considered naman pa minsan -minsan mag talk na own dialect..but i believe on some restriction specially on the tutorial forums or on topics such as sharing ideas..but kong pang greet lang or jokes..sana di naman strict...cheers
