Share your Vray Settings Here

Post by bokkins on Mon Oct 13, 2008 10:20 pm

First topic message reminder :

Hi guys, you can share your vray settings in this thread. here's my DRAFT Setttings. Very Happy

1st bounce: irradiance map
2nd bounce: lightcache

Irradiance map
very very low -4,-4 - very fast, low quality
very low -4,-3 - fast and just ok
go higher if you want better quality

Lightcache
50-100 is draft, low quality
500 is good
2000 is very good in terms of quality but longer rendertime

Environment
you can use hdri on both GI environment and reflection

I used REINHARD here.

Save as preset. I named mine as "vray draft". In this way, you don't need to go through the setup all over again. good luck! inuman na

hmmmmnnn.. Rolling Eyes exterior setting.. bakit yung sakin di visible yung mga detail like ung mga curve lines sa wall. di makuha sa camera adjustment (using v-ray physical cam.) yung output meron syang flush that lighten some particular portion na lumalabo at yun nga di na makita yung deatail ng design.

my advice is don't go 0.001 noise threshold in dmc/qmc sampler im sure 100% it will take time in render. you can make other set up with same result. noise threshold 0.004/0.005 and min/max subvds. 3/6 in image sampler and uncheck the color threshold.Good luck.

regarding the color mapping set up make lower your burn value in to 0.25-0.30 (reinhard)

Master,

tanong lang po. error po ba ito?

warning: camera matrix is not orthonormal 'max compatible shadecontext' is ON
warning: standard materials and lights may shade incorrectly.
