Question to All SU users:)

Hi everybody... i always want to practice SU rendering kaso im more into autocad 3d modelling. ang problema po mga sir nakakatamad burahin isa isa ang mga line division since several faces will be created when you convert objects in 3ds files ( please see the sample below)

is there an easier way that i can put my cad & max works in SU? is there a plugin that i can use or a proper way of exporting files so that it will become usable for SU software?

ctrl+erase tool...sa curves naman eh soften or smooth...ngkakaroon ng ganyan if ung plane mo ay di sya flat...or minsan sa pageexport ngkakaganyan...hope nakatulong ako....

hi sir best way cguro as jenaro said, smooth mo nalang para mawala lines.(since lines lng pinoproblema mo)
either select mo lahat na imported 3ds model then window>smooth edges>check mo soften coplanar.
or try mo workflow sa thread na

yap sir migz...double click a plane tapos kapag lahat na ng plane nasama eh smooth na...un ung madalian...pero kapag nasobrahan naman ung pag smooth eh kahit ung line na need mo itira eh masasama mawawala...heheehhe...bat bb gandang pusa ka na marienne?hehehhehe

try mo sir press eraser ng matagal to the lines, make sure its un grouped or blocked, pwede mo erased sabay sabay while pressing the eraser tool.no need to pick one by one.

sir tong oras n pagmodel mo nito sa cad, halos 15-30 mins lang to sa SU pag minodsel sir... problema kc pag smooth na, dmo nato maeedit sa su
