Nipa Roofing using Vray Fur

Nipa roofing can be done in many ways, pwedeng using layered bitmap, 3dmodel or Vray Fur. Sa tutorial na to, I'll be using vray fur since I find it most realistic. Download the file para mapagpractisan nyo din. Enjoy!

Tama ka bro. minsan kasi natatakot lang tayo kalikutin. pro important talaga na always experiment and practice. thanks bro.

bro i made some modifications to your fur, try mo use ang RAM player so you can pick the difference..... render orig setting and place it on RAM player channel A (look the open last rendered icon at channel A and don't close the RAM player) and do a modification at the roof, add 5 more horizontal segments using connect (pwede rin segments vertically).....then render again and place it under channel B and scrub the slider. wella... can you spot the difference...mas denser ang strands but of course, u can tweak more on settings...

great! thanks for the info bro. madaming tweaks pa ang pwedeng gawin talaga dito. I just showed how its done in the most simple way. but that's great that you're trying to play with it now. I think yung denser is only good sa malapitan, if you're doing something na malayo naman, stay with less dense setup, kasi the denser it gets, the harder work your computer is doing. lalo na pag madaming kubo na. thanks sir bokkins! how was the rendering speed compare to vray displacement? any idea?

mabilis pag tamang density at set-up ng fur(mas mabilis pa minsan compared to displacement), pro mabagal na pag denser na. saka di ko makuha ganitong effect sa displacement. one more, maganda lang pala to pag malayo. hehe.

Patulong naman ako sa setting ng Vray fur, gamit ko kc sa UNIT SETUP is in Metric sa Millimeters. Naga hang na pagnirender. Anu kaya problema sir? Tingin ko sa Render settinsgs..

try mo gawing meters, baka yun lang ang problem. also, wag din sobrang daming fur.

pano po ba mapabilis ung rendering ng using VRAy... ang bagal kasi dito sakin... ano ba dapat specs ng pc

i did this on a core 2 duo 2 years ago at very low settings.
