2d Animators
Responsibilities:
• Manage and produce quality animated pieces on schedule within ToonBoom Harmony
• Working closely with the Animation Director
• Coordinating with designers & artists to create animation assets that fulfill the requirements
• Handling creative decisions.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience is required.
• Must have a strong sense of animation timing, posing, weight and storytelling.
• Solid drawing skills,understanding of perspective
• Ability to animate characters moving naturally,good understanding of weight and physics
• Stong acting skills and imagination, ability to animate characters in a wide variety of emotions
• Able to work and communicate effectively in a collaborative, fast paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Must be flexible and willing to learn.
• Ability to animate in ToonBoom/Flash (3d animation knowledge a bonus)
• Ability to work in a studio environment

Background Artist/Matte Painter
Responsibilities:
Designing and painting background images and other assets used in background / set work. Will work closely with director and other artists from different departments to build rich sets using efficient methods. In addition they will also provide storyboard and other 2d work when requested.
 
Qualifications:
• The ability to create photo-real environments and landscapes that exhibit a strong foundation in photo-realistic traditional and digital art.
• Thorough knowledge of advanced matte painting techniques including colour space, digital paint techniques and Photoshop file management (be it file format, bit depth resolution or appropriate layering of elements).
• Technical proficiency in photography with an emphasis on composition, depth, lighting and colour.
• A high level of understanding of 3d projection work in Nuke and Maya to ensure the highest standards of plate integration.
• Working knowledge of the principles of 3D texture projections.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in matte painting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional aptitude for time management in relation to bringing multiple priorities and tasks to completion within a set deadline.
• Able demonstrate to ability to work to tight schedules with fast turnaround.
• Able to translate verbal and written concepts and convert them effectively to the visual medium.
• Able to take artistic and technical direction positively and work well within a team environment.
• Pro-active.

Layout Artist
Responsibilities:
• In close collaboration with the director, the layout artists translate the scripts and storyboards into polished frames.
• This crew choreographs the character models in the animated environment and manipulates the virtual camera to dictate what is seen on screen, to capture the important emotion and plot of the scene.
• Layout artists position and pose the characters according to the action and dialogue in the script, giving the animators a starting point from which to fully flesh out the characters’ movements and expressions.
 
Qualifications:
• Ability to stage shots and plot the action that will take place within each scene, ensuring flow within and between shots and sequences; block in the position of characters and major shots within assigned scenes, using storyboards as reference
• Camera animation skills are a necessity
• A working knowledge of the principles of cinematic staging, blocking, and camera work; good understanding of timing and editing
• Passionate about art and animation; devoted to films and animation production
• Demonstrated fast learning ability, communication skills; ability to communicate with colleagues .
• Excellent traditional art skills, with talents in both drawing and painting are preferred

Storyboard Artist
Responsibilities
• Receive written and verbal descriptions of a sequence from the Director.
• Draw storyboards that depict the action, camera placement, and acting of the characters in that sequence.
• Hone, refine, delete, or create dialog where needed.
• Present the storyboards to the director and other members of the story team.
• Once approved, pass storyboards on to the team.
• Create new drawings to fix and change sequences throughout the production process.
• Create and pitch alternate story solutions to the director.
Requirements
• Able to create story ideas and options to story ideas
• Composition and presentation skills
• Able to present work in a clear and entertaining way
• Entertaining acting ideas
• Strong layout and design skills
• Strong, communicative draftsmanship

• Create a wide range of high quality particle effects using proprietary particle tools and various 3rd party software.

• Develop assets optimized for current and next-generation systems.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve visual effects related issues.
 
Qualifications
• Experience creating brilliant, eye catching real-time VFX using Photoshop, Maya, and in-game VFX systems
• Strong grasp of visual design principles used to create stylized, compelling VFX
• Industry experience, with shipped title demonstrating real-time particle effects.
• Exceptional understanding of Photoshop and/or After Effects for creating textures and effects sequences.
• Able to paint VFX textures from scratch and match an established style
• High degree of proficiency with 3D graphics, particle systems, physics, ribbons, shaders, etc.
• Solid knowledge of rendering engines
• Self-motivated, humble, excellent communication skills
• A minimum of 3 years’ creating VFX for video games,tvc,or films

Compositor
Responsibilities:
• Composite Digital Visual Effects in a team of 2D/3d artists for final delivery of VFX
• Demonstrate a broad range of compositing abilities and determine the best approach to
solve compositing challenges
• Attend and actively participate in team / production meetings
• Accountable for meeting productivity and quota targets on time and at a high level of
quality
Qualifications
• At least 3- 5+ years’ experience in compositing digital VFX for film
• Advanced demonstrated knowledge and production experience in high-end compositing
software (preferably Nuke)
• Should have strong knowledge of compositing workflow and the compositing application
interface
• Should have strong aptitude for technical workflow challenges such as directory
structure, file formats, naming conventions, scripts, automation tools, automated dailies,
etc.
• Experience with complex matte extractions and motion tracking

Concept Artist
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Art Director to establish visual direction for mood, environments, gameplay items/weapons/gadgets and props for use by Environment Artists, Level Architects and outsource teams to model and texture assets.
• Concept a range of environments, scenes, and assets
• Paint over the top of 3D geometry as needed to define concepts
• Develop orthographic production images as needed for 3D modelers
 
Qualifications
• Strong Photoshop skills
• Strong traditional artistic skills with an excellent grasp of lighting, environment,industrial design, architecture, color theory, and perspective, and iconography
• Working knowledge 3D art techniques and software packages, such as Maya, 3Ds Max, Zbrush, or Mudbox a plus
• 3-5 years experience concepting for video games or film
• Excellent communication and time management skill
• Previous AAA game experience a plus.

Responsibilities
• Create geometries and texturing for characters, sets, props and vehicles based on production designs
• Develop models for multiple types of productions from simple to moderately difficult
• Render images of the models you create for approval and circulation
• Complete all work assigned within the scheduled time frame and in an efficient manner
• Collaborate with animation team to ensure models are structured to achieve intended performance requirements.
• Interpret and implement notes and feedback from directors and supervisors in a timely and qualitatively acceptable way
• Remain current in modelling and production techniques
• Stay up-to-date on production related software
• Carry out duties in a professional and positive manner
 
Qualifications
• Degree and/or diploma in fine arts or animation or equivalent experience is preferred
• 3-5+ years of experience working in a professional environment within their discipline.
• Proficiency in Maya, Photoshop, and Zbrush
• A full working knowledge of Photoshop, or similar paint package is vital. Knowledge of Body Paint,Polypainting in Zbrush or other 3D paint packages would be a big advantage.
• Understanding and experience in the creation and use of geometry assets in a production setting
• Basic understanding of scripting and programming in Python or MEL a plus
• Understanding of facial shape animation
• Working knowledge of Windows operating system
• Good understanding of animation process

• Must be fluent in 3D Maya & VRAY/Mental Ray
• Engages and works closely with Artists to troubleshoot problems and/or inefficiencies and implement solutions that meets the needs of all .Interprets a storyboard into a final lit, rendered shot.
Requirements:
• • Strong balance of aesthetic, technical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• • Excellent understanding of authoring physically based materials in an HDR lighting pipeline
• • Advanced knowledge of materials and rendering within Maya.
