How to Make Water Effects on the Road

Happy New Year po mga ka CGP,

With due respect po sa may ari ng image nato, sir.. pagamit po nito as reference..

Baka po may pwedeng mkatulong paano ginawa yung Water effects sa Roads, kahit key words lng po,
bubusisihin ko na ang tuts sa youtube or kung may makapagbigay nang tuts.
Salamat ng marami sa sasagot..

This is similar to your other question regarding the wall with leaves. The idea is that you create two textures and mix them using a mask map. In this case, a road texture and then a reflective road texture masked using a b&w image (where white is opaque and black is transparent)

Please read more on creating materials including the blend material..

Do not misinterpret it but I think you are dealing with complex tasks right away when you should work on the basics firsts. Learning max is like climbing the stairs, you cannot skip the steps to reach the top...
