this is no brainer, you can buy 4 fully-loaded i7 matx setup for if your looking for mobility...

pero not worth the price pa din...imo, unless you see the difference between pro card and gaming card in realtime, dito kasi pareho lang... chepipay na lang kasi ddr3 and i7... 12gb is almost at reach, for sure may padating na next breeder ng skulltrail for nahalems..

may nagtanong kasi sa akin ganito dati, if there's a lappy that can survive a fulltime rendering job, depende kasi sa project, kung starter ka lang sa 3dsmax.. at this certain time, pwede pa siguro, pero if you want a workhorse that can serve you as a fulltime workstation sa murang halaga, desktop is the way to go. penryn or add another and you'll have an octo-core

buy a richman's workstation setup, then knowing 6 months from now, a new breed of tech will arrive, overpowering your bragging rights.. with a cheaper price.. and sa systema ng service support sa pinas, ewan ko lang kung worthy invest sa branded system..

and with all those senseless taskbar application on a normal laptop out in the market, i bet it will suffice your needs.

one of our former co-league was already working at DM Dubai Municipality he told us that they are using boxx desktop ang feed back niya samin swabe daw ang takbo nito regarding sa work namin as renderer kaya nirecommend ko din sa office namin kaso they react that mahal daw ung PC na un sa 50 thou dirhams marami na daw clang PC na mabibili nun kasi nagcocomplane ako sa PC na binigay nila sakin pero d cla nakinig sakin hanggang dumating sa point na cra na talaga PC ko tsaka cla nagdecide na bumili ng High End na PC pero ang malungkot napunta lang sa Pana so kami na nangangailangan walang magamit. hu hu hu....

hehe OT na lahat tyo.... try mo na mag i7 mejo affordable na, so far im very satisfied sa new rig ko n probably ito na ung last rig ko ... say in 5 to 7 years

i you want to buy a gadgets, always remember you will use it for the moment, as there is no future proof in techs... sa lappy, recommend ko lang any core2duo with 3gb/4gb, try mo lang install ng 64bit OS, if you can...so you can utilize all your memory, important to sa 3dsmax and pag nag try ka na mag vray.. yung ibang parts and support ek-ek, perks na lang if yun sa 3dsmax plan mo.

malaking tulong po ung mga bnigay nyo n specs...maybe mag ask ako sa boss ko ng c2quad or i7....salamat ulit mga sir..
