Nomeradona: (WIP) Texture and Lighting Competition (The Altar)

i have been jostling with time to do this, kasi busy talaga sa school. buti na lang at spring break namin ngayon. here is my concept. A vietnamese buddhist altar using Sketchup and vray sketchup as rendering engine.

"In man's heart there is a vacuum who longs to relate with God. Each culture, each religion has different way in filling this vacuum. In vietnam their religion is a mixture of buddhism and ancestral worship and as nation VIetnamese is a religious nation kahit na pa nga Communist sya.

I love to explore this topic, especially with my previous works of combining traditional painting and 3d vizualisation. here is another attempt using this competition.

here is my only lighting ( i called it light box. its hard to achieve a dark effect therefore i have to improvise)
i cut a small hole on this box to disperse the rectangular light inside.

Sir are you aiming for a dark output? Worried lang ako baka d makita yung textures

im really aiming for dark output na may kaunting highlights. im fully aware with the texture issues. nevertheless i will be mindful with that. thanks alice...
