Re: Voting: Lighting and Texture Challenge 2009
excellent works indeed, for all....
well, my vote went for the most 'unique' imho...not the typical 'old-worn-out-dreary' room, nor the clean and straight-forward decent light-up...these are what i think would be a 'typical' approach put your dirt maps here (not that am saying it's easy as well). I also commend those who did just use texture and light, on the base model than destroy it...because, afterall u gotta agree; it is indeed very very difficult to make use of something and then turn it into something different just by simply texture and not really touching the model.
i went for what i tot was bringing something 'new' to the challenge, that would be indeed tricky to bring about in terms of mood, though not exactly on par..but still very good in my view...
nevertheless, i wont tell which i voted for :p.... well, there are only a few who did such, won't be easy to spot on.
again, still for all
..and yes different eyes, different views
