gamit ka ser ng adaptive DMC image sampler
min sudivs:1
max sudivs:100

tapos Color mapping ,exponential ( iwas sa sunog)
dark multiplier: 3.8
bright multiplier : 2.6

vray light cache
subdivs : 1200
Sample size : 0.002 or 0.001 (kung malakas un pc mo)
no. of passes: 3 (ok na)

sa settings, vray DMC Smapler
adaptive amount : 0.85
Noise thresholds : 0.002

minimum samples : 8
global subdivs mulitplier : 2.0

save ka ng prepass ng irradiance map and light cache ( kahit low lang kc sini save mo yung light and materials )

yan yung settings para matangal yung mga splotches sana ser makatulong tong settings gud luck

ya know - the spots or the leaks means that you have very low GI hemispherical subdivs.

One thing I'd suggest is to try first using the irradiance presets , low, med then onwards. Do not play around with the custom settings if you do not know how to use them. There's a reason why the presets are there.

Regarding edward's settings above:

A global subdivision value of 2 means all the local settings are multiplied by a factor of 2. The setting above is what you call the universal setting (min 1 max 100) which will override almost everything. Its a sure fire flickerless approach but you better be ready for longer rendering times.

I personally use DMC but around a min or 2-3 and max of 6 to 9. And my material glossiness ranges from 24 to 32.

I know I just made you confused even more.
In the meantime - adjust the irradiance settings and see if that improves the rendering quality.

regarding edward's setting too...I can actually get away by just setting my light cache subdivision to 500, and the sample size is just at the default, 0.01.

i set it to medium, then go to custom and set my:

HSph subdivs: 60
Interp samples: 40, but most of the time they are all in default

then set my noise threshold under rQMC Sampler to 0.001

The only once i mess is my light subdivisions, which are set at 25.

Hope this helps....i stand corrected by the way if some of these are incorrect.
