As promised, here is a simple explanation of the tip/tutorial that can be seen on master

I won't go into the "science" of mental ray. You can find that in zap's blog. But to put it in simple words we just need to control mia_physicalsky shader. And this is how we do it so..

Step 1. Prepare your scene like on the Mental ray sun tutorial.

Step 2. Find a good spherical environment. Kailangan ng ilabas yang mga naka-baul na HDRI's ninyo.

Step 3. We need to place this(spherical environment) into the haze parameter of the mia_physicalsky. Just drag & drop your "mr Physical Sky" from your Environment (8 on your keyboard) into the Material editor as an instance.
Uncheck the "inherit from sky" first and apply the spherical map in the haze parameter slot.

Step 4. If you only have a LDRI, adjust the RGB level in the Output rollout to achieve the kind of "texture" in your sky.
Setting it between 5 and 10 will give you nice results.

*Note that in HDRI's you don't need to adjust this.

Step 5. Render!

**These were rendered on low preset settings under the Mental ray engine. Final gather, global illumination and caustics were turned on. All rendered under a minute on a Core2Duo machine.**
