Quadruped Walkcycle & Hair Simulation

I've been experimenting with a quadruped model with hair. I used standard "hair and fur" modifier in 3ds max 2009 and rendered in scanline. I'm not quite satisfied with the hair's shader but I think I'll stick to it for now.

nindot kayo bai, default ra ang setting sa hair and fur ani? or naa ka gi tweak nga settings? wala pako ka gamit ug max2009, gaan ra sa interface?

Thanks bai, I'm redoing this simulation as I write this since I placed a run cycle after a few seconds into the animation.

I tweaked the hair and fur modifier and its dynamics a lot to make this work. Guide hairs are based on splines and then used the "stylized" feature inside the modifier to brush and scale some parts. The only default setting was the render buffer engine of the hair and fur modifier.
