First topic message reminder :

Hi guys, just wanted to share this stuff I did last night. It's a test on grass modeling. Medyo nahirapan akong maachieve yung look na gusto ko kasi matataba ang nagawa kong grass. dapat pala i-scale down ko pa. I got the idea from a tutorial by peter guthrie. Sinimplify ko lang kasi wala naman akong vray scatter at iba pang mention dito sa link nya - http://www.peterguthrie.net/blog/2009/04/vray-grass-tutorial-part-2/

I used compound>scatter instead, then converted the mesh to vray proxy, tapos copy paste nalang at scale down ang ibang part. Ito ang naging result ko. Hope you like it.

Thanks mga bro, rendering time yata was around 10-20 mins dahil walang displacement. 45 yata ung may DOF. Sa test na ginawa ko, mas mabilis irender ang 3d grass kaysa vray displacement modifier.

problema po d ko alam paano gamitin when i hit render walang image... hehehe..

yepz,,kaya nga proxy nlng gmit ko sa grass,,,eror kung displacement,,,
