Hi CG Pips, maginquire po sana ako kung sino dito me boxx laptops??? im planning to buy pero i have no ideas san pwede bumili nito??? kasi dito sa qatar mostly HP,sony at dell brand.Help po.PLease???

as i know sir i visited i site which i post also in the tread "most Powerful Laptop" but this is very expensive, ang boxx laptop daw pala binibili lang ung chasis with complete stuff at saka nila ilagay ung logo nila...

Hi, Here are some pictures of may sager laptop which could help you on your boxx laptop purchase decision.




As you can see this is a sager, but it shares the same exterior body of the boxx laptop. My laptop is already 2 years old, it has a Core2 Quad 3.0ghz, 4gb ram. I got this from http://www.powernotebooks.com/, you can also get this from other websites. But if you want the boxx logo you need to get it with boxx. Get multiple quotes before deciding



The performance of my laptop is comparable to a Core2Quad 3.0ghz desktop version. Because it has the same desktop processor.

The new boxx laptop is using the latest intel corei7, including the Core i7-980X. so if you need to know the render speed, it will be same as the desktop version.

Based on my experience, the downside is it heats up a lot and its heavy to carry around. But It's a mobile workstation that I can carry around, with the render power of a full desktop, even faster than most corei7 if you get the Core i7-980X.

I wish to comment more on the possibility of the latest machine. kung super power talaga sya. I said its really my dream machine kaya lang out sa fashion ang look nya although I can dig the chunkiness.

@ hotrod....just for majority information. Is there any re-sale value if decided to sell old machine to puchase the latest model. Advisory lang for those people like me who wanted to buy and at the same time always want the latest model.

Computers have a pretty bad resale value, after 2 years it will be worth less than 40% of the purchased price. Your current computer might retain its brand new price like mac pros, but new technology will cost 50% less on other brands, and it renders faster

Thes best way is sulitin nyo ang pagbili nyo, work hard and get back your investment fast.hehe

Then sell the computer to help fund your next purchase. wait at least 2 years before purchasing new, by that time the new technology cpu will render twice as fast as your current rig.

If you can hold off your purchase the better, use your current rig as much as you can.

It's also about timing, look around for news of new cpu coming out and their launch dates. Mahirap na baka bagbili nyo next month lumabas 6core for the masses. There will be price drops, and time your purchases.
