rendermaster: Bahay Kubo of the Future Design Competition (final)
First topic message reminder :
ayan makikigulo ulit ako.
Design Approach: just a simple bahay kubo, utilizing both the natural resources on a passive design approach. Half of the structure is covered with landscape maximising the natural coling capabilities during summer. Assuming its location was near water and ridge, so it will utilize the water stream into something. Simple, it will use all the native material available. Para naman di magmukhang mas mahal pa ang mga equipement kesa mismong bahay which is not practical at all. Anyway good luck to all, just for fun

hmmmm update ko na nga......the final image.
The Main Concept:
The near future means something, either or scarcity or abundance of material things. Assuming the environemnt suffers a lot on this mess, man find himself looking for a place for a plant to grow. The concept was derive from the Bahay Kubo itself, maximizing the space, taking both side and constructed an A-Frame structure to support those ladderized planters for small vegetables and alike. To maximize more the use of natural resources, assuming that the house is near the river or a waterfalls, he can make waterwheel to create an automatic water pumping station.
The Final Concept Image:
