Gas & Fire
I'm working on a short animation in an undisclosed location. Currently - framing out my shots...here's some rendered views fresh from the oven! My weapons of choice: 3ds Max 2010, Mental Ray, Vue 7XStream, Combustion.

Re: Gas & Fire
Thanks guys! I'll definetely post more when there's more development. I'm still deciding whether to render out the motion blur in Max or do it in post, reason is sometimes it doesn't look quite right....I usually use RSMB for that. Stay tuned!

Salamat! They say Vue 7.5 now works with Vray, but all these were done with 7.4 and in MR. Have you tried the PLE?

Re: Gas & Fire
Wooooh! Great lighting! My only concern is the clouds. They look odd, especially on the 2nd & 3rd image. Masyadong uniform ang dating. Siguro yung specularity na rin ng water, dapat mas-intense pa ata, sa lakas ba naman ng lightsource.
Pero other than that ok na 'to! Lalo na pagnilagyan pa ng blur yung rotor blades ng helicopter.
Keep it up!
