Needs help for Wedding Ring in mental Ray

Hello po sa lahat ng mga 3D Masters...pacensya na po sa pag aabala ko ngayon sa inyo...gusto ko lang po sana makahingi ng tulong sa inyo....may ginawa po kasi akong Wedding Ring...gawa po eto sa Max, Mental Ray na Render....nag uumpisa lang po kasi akong mag explore sa Max...baguhan lang po kasi ako...at saka gusto ko pong maging kagaya nyo balang araw....

eto po yong gawa kong output...kaso lang hindi siya realistic at saka ang daming kulang...anong dapat ko bang gawin o kaya anong dapat na edagdag na mga materials at mga effects po para maging makabuluhan ang scene....salamat po pala in advance...sana di kayo magsawang magbigay ng iyong mga nalalaman...malaking tulong po eto kagaya kong nag uumpisa pa lang pumasok sa Kwadradong Mundo ng MAX...

sir comment ko try to blur the reflection sa pinagpapatungan ng ring mo... kasi for jewelry rendering mas bagay yung blurred reflection sa patugan ng ring.

For starters maganda po yung material nyo ng gold. Hindi po ako eksperto sa paggamit ng Mental Ray pero pwede nyo po i-check ang Ambient Occlusion sa material editor para makadagdag sa realism ng render. thumbsup

sir i think hindi makakahelp po ang ambient occlusion d2 kasi po for me ao pass is for adding details sa mga edges and corners ( mdyu hindi kasi kaya minsan ng ir map yung ganun except lng pag nag render ka with delone traingulation and detail enhancement kaso tatagal yung rendering mo ng sobra sobra ), smooth surface po ang ring so i think hindi sya mag mamatter d2.. zdepth pass po ang tama d2 para i blur yung likod na part ng ring parang macro shot.
